"Average European hotel"

"I can not give any comment about the hotel because we were not there. We came to the hotel at 12 in the night and they said all of the room are reserved and they dont have room for us ??? We booked on Trip.com and paid ??? The receptionist said in the normal way without apology like it should be like this. He said we should move to another hotel they arranged for us (10 km far from this hotel). Whatttttt ? If the hotel has no room for us, they should inform us in advance and i can cancel and book another hotel. Another dissapointment was i contacted the hotel in advance to tell them about our late checkin. At that time they should have informed me about the vacancy. But nothing !!! Never again with this hotel. We contacted Trip.com and got the support. It was good from trip.com"

"My wife and I arrived on a Wednesday. Performance was appropriate for a three and a half to four stars hotel. On Saturday afternoon a family celebration began directly in a city house. The volume increased from hour to hour. At 24 hours I registered at the hotel's known telephone number. A lady at the telephone told me she was not responsible if I would not live in our country and I could not imagine that there could be celebrations there. Since our call is not targeted, I should be pleased to take care of myself and I could call the police. She would only provide a hotel room. I have not experienced such a thing and I can't even imagine that it can be a leading destination for future guests. My wife and I will check whether we can submit legal steps. A very disappointing stay in this House. Not recommended. Frank Bauersfeld"

"The hotel is located right in the city center at the marketplace, making it a very nice location to explore the town of Heppenheim on foot. However, it is a bit complicated to find the route to the hotel's parking lot using the navigation system. There are actually several ways that lead to the marketplace. The best way can be inquired at the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center/shopping street. Many restaurants in the area are also within walking distance. The hotel is a typical half-timbered house from the historical times of Germany, like the entire city center of Heppenheim. The rooms are not very large, but they are clean. Various toiletries should be packed in your suitcase, as it is common in such hotels in Germany not to offer such items. The hotel is quiet and comfortable due to its location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking in the hotel’s own parking lot is free, but it is small and has a limited number of spaces. The breakfast leaves something to be desired. There is a small buffet that has everything you need for breakfast. Foreigners may find it a bit more difficult here, as the buffet does not offer an international breakfast. However, the staff asks how you would like your eggs for breakfast. They are also happy to prepare scrambled eggs. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a good meal in the evening or just have a drink. All in all, we can say that this is a recommendable small hotel in the heart of Heppenheim. Quiet location, good breakfast, good service, and a great location to explore the city on foot. Larger supermarkets can be found in the area by car. We had a pleasant stay and would come back anytime."
