"Stayed here on my own for 2 nights whilst working away. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and put me at the back of the hotel for a quieter room as I was working night shifts. Parking was free (if you sign up at reception). The room was clean but a bit damaged and outdated. I’d forgotten a hairdryer but they had one at reception. The room was a bit cold but it was -3 and snowing so perhaps that’s why. Would definitely stay again."

"Not great. No breakfast as we expected and was on our booking. Room was dated, dull and dusty. Not a hotel, basically rooms above a pub. £120 a night definitely not worth that. Had to pay a £50 deposit in case anything taken out the mini bar. I took a can of lemonade but left the £3 in the room. The restaurant adjoining did nice food but very pricey."
