"The hotel is centrally located in a very busy area. The entrance is next to the Indian restaurant, which is also part of the hotel. The entrance area and reception are very narrow and small, guests can hardly cross paths. Advance payment on arrival is mandatory. The room is not particularly large and is fairly clean. Everything is old, worn and seems to need a general renovation. The bathroom is very small, you can hardly move in the shower. Unfortunately, it is also very warm in the room, even though there was a standing fan inside. Sleeping is almost impossible, as the room cannot be darkened properly. Leaving the window open at night is not an option, as it is still loud from outside even with the windows closed. It is just as loud from inside, as the walls are very thin. The breakfast is sufficient and OK. Fresh coffee is brought to the table. The price is not high, but still too much for what is offered. It is bearable for one night."

"We had a wonderful stay here at the Mercure in Biel. Check in was fast. Room and Hotel was spotless clean. Aircondition worked great. Bathroom with showergel, shampoo, liquid soap. Unfortunately we did not have time to check out the fitness and sauna on the 6th floor. 24h Reception is great."

"The hotel makes a well-pleasant impression at first sight, but unfortunately the positive impression is already finished here. The room was extremely spartanianly furnished – a mini-bath/WC, where the grill full light is – even in the middle of the night (!), without any depose area, no refrigerator, no air conditioning. The location is particularly disturbing directly on a highly driven road, which ensures continuous noise pollution. Furthermore, there is no lift – with baggage a real challenge. The parking is not only limited but also totally overpriced. Breakfast was simply a conception: complete self-service, empty bread basket, no summit, a low-quality and half-empty meat plate. Smutsy deposits and tables, no one cares about filling or cleaning. The box is to clean yourself – and that for a price that is not justified in any way. Under the footnote: A disappointing stay with a underground breakfast offer. The price-performance ratio is not true here at all."
