"Facilities: Decent enough, the only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking. The nearest car park is about a 1km walk away. Cleanliness: Very good! Ambiance: Very good! "The hotel's location is very good, centrally located in an iconic building. It's very well-maintained, and the rooms are very comfortable. The spa is very good, with a variety of pools, and the massages are very pleasant. It also has a very well-equipped gym, far exceeding the average found even in much better hotels. Room for improvement: the in-room safe is broken, and the closet should have doors, much better than a curtain. But above all, the service at breakfast could be improved. The guy in the kitchen the morning I was there was very unfriendly and rude. I asked him if they could make me some scrambled eggs (because the truth is that the healthy breakfast options were very limited), and his response was to slam the door in my face. Very unpleasant; it really has tarnished the rest of his colleagues' work."

"In terms of design, this is a nice, beautiful hotel. Comfortable mattress, pillow menu, hair dryer, bathroom amenities... but!! The coffee machine in my room didn't work, complete lack of soundproofing. It felt like I was sleeping on the street among crowds of strolling youth (and the hotel is located right in the Casco Viejo quarter). The coat rack is located right above the kettle and coffee machine. So you have to boil the kettle so that the steam doesn't get on your coat...? Extremely dangerous cotton swabs. I came to the administrator at check-out and showed how you can accidentally pierce your eardrum with one movement. And the price for the night is not small at all. I have no desire to recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay and getting to know Bilbao. Alas"

We booked breakfast with the room for our stay but were informed by the front desk that the breakfast facility was no longer available and put a coffee machine an a few biscuits in the reception area. We were told that they would refund the amount we paid on our booking to our account but this has not happened."
