It's ideal for exploring the fishing villages along the Cantabrian coast and having dinner in Vittoria (the prettiest town in the area)."

"The hotel's location is very good, centrally located in an iconic building. It's very well-maintained, and the rooms are very comfortable. The spa is very good, with a variety of pools, and the massages are very pleasant. It also has a very well-equipped gym, far exceeding the average found even in much better hotels. Room for improvement: the in-room safe is broken, and the closet should have doors, much better than a curtain. But above all, the service at breakfast could be improved. The guy in the kitchen the morning I was there was very unfriendly and rude. I asked him if they could make me some scrambled eggs (because the truth is that the healthy breakfast options were very limited), and his response was to slam the door in my face. Very unpleasant; it really has tarnished the rest of his colleagues' work."

"This is an amazing hotel. It has been renovated to an incredibly high standard. The rooms are well furnished with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has some of the best towels I have come across in a hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff made us feel so welcome and were super helpful. Our waitress at diner was so lovely. The food was amazing, the quality and the presentation were first class. Don’t eat too much too early in breakfast as choices kept coming and were freshly cooked. It was a wonderful experience and comes highly recommended."

"The hotel is new and the stay was very pleasant. I'd give a perfect ten to the short-haired redhead waitress at the bar. She was an excellent and super attentive employee. If I have to mention one thing, our room was on the side of the train tracks and we could hear them all night. That was a drawback. But I liked it enough to want to come back, though next time I'll ask for a room on a different side."

"This is a comfortable hotel. The staff are helpful. The rooms are modern,ours had a comfy bed and a fridge. The spa was pricey and the spa pool had to be booked 1hour for €22 each adult. I’ve stayed in spa hotels before and the pool part /sauna have been free to use for hotel guests. The breakfast was the usual buffet style and ok. They’re only 2 restaurants/bars for food open in this town and a few drinking bars. It was October so maybe more are open in the summer. The hotel does snacks at lunchtime but no evening meals."
