"A strange smell upon entering the room. No electrical outlets at the headboard. No courtesy tray with a kettle, coffee, or tea. In the bathroom, the cups aren't vacuum-sealed. The bathtub drains poorly, and a strange smell occurs when the water runs. The same smell as upon entering the room. No air conditioning, but a fan sits on the desk. The doorbell doesn't work. As a result, the door stays open if you don't close it.
Breakfast-wise, for almost €10, you'd expect better. No omelet or grilled ham. It's really basic.
This is still a decent hotel for the price, but it deserves a refresh and some maintenance."

No. 9 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Centre-Val de Loire"I recently stayed at the Hôtel de Bourbon (the Mercure one) in Bourges, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a little piece of history while still having all the modern comforts you could want.
My room was a classic double, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent—properly supportive after a day of wandering around—and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with good water pressure. Everything felt freshly renovated (they did a big update around 2018), with a nice blend of modern touches and the old abbey character. Some rooms overlook the park, which must be lovely in summer."

Bright, renovated apartment of about 27m2, including a small separate bedroom with a double bed, in the living room a double sofa bed allowing to travel with the family.
Kitchen equipped with all the minimum necessary to cook, oven, microwave, induction hob, fridge, coffee maker, dishes, and condiments ... A bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and towel dryer. Loan of bed linen and tea towel. Washing machine on the spot in free access. Access to a courtyard and garden closed by a gate that can accommodate your vehicle.
This house is a dependence of our house however it is independent. We will be there only if you need something or advice. Only the courtyard is an access in common with our housing.
