"Pls be mindful Hotel require deposit 100k IDR. When check out, the hotel will check the room first before u get your deposit back. Need to wait around 10mins. Can say cheap rate hotel with 2 breakfast just around rm125 per night. I chose this hotel bcos i arrived Batam night time, so no need fancy hotel hehe. The hotel is not shoplot hotel, the whole building is the hotel. At night quite noisy, not sure why, maybe there’s event at the ballroom hotel. The toilet room is average (quite smelly maybe bcos old hotel), not suitable for fussy person. Same goes to the bed and bed sheet. But the room is so spacious and have kiblat sign (for muslim prayer). Breakfast spread also average, suitable if you not eat much. But still have egg station. Nasi goreng, meehon goreng, cereals, also have. Overall still ok if you stay 1 night."

"The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. It's also very convenient to take a taxi to the mall. The breakfast food was just okay, but since it was included with the room, it was still worth it. The main thing is that my kids really liked this hotel, so I'll still choose Aston next time I visit."

"The hotel is a bit old but is convenient and near Batam Ferry Centre by a few mins ride. The room is clean but the safe deposit is not working. Breakfast is not a lot but is good enough to include in the hotel fees which is cheap since i only stay one night. A lot of tourists using the pools especially the kids. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful too."

"Artotel is totally my cup of tea ☕️🎨 From the moment I walked in, I was like, “Okay… this place gets me.” The whole hotel feels like a mini art museum — with specially curated artwork by local artists and even a gallery right in the lobby. If I’m not mistaken, it looks like live band performances can take place in the lobby too. Honestly, I half expected to accidentally walk into an exhibition opening instead of checking in. The vibes? Immaculate. Creative, quirky, and just the right amount of “I’m cooler than your average hotel.” Also… can we talk about the mysterious gifts? 👀 It was my mom’s birthday during our stay, and she kept finding little surprises in the room. We’re not 100% sure if it’s part of a birthday special or if Artotel just enjoys spoiling guests (not complaining either way 😂). Overall, 10/10 would stay again — for the art, the vibes, and the possibility of more surprise goodies. 🎁"

"First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. "Great location right next to the ferry terminal, with a sheltered walkway that makes getting around easy even in the rain. Many eateries are nearby, and the views of Harbour Bay with Singapore in the distance are lovely. Comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and efficient elevators."

"Always love this Hotel. Maybe repeated 10 times already. Good service, good massage spa. Loves the cozy pool with warm jacuzzi on sundeck w frangipani tree over. almost exclusive! However buffet although many varieties breakfast this time is not as great as before😢. Previous chefs retired. Hope Chef become better"

"Decent hotel at a very strategic location. Many surrounding facilities like coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, convenient stores, bakeries, massage parlours, KTVs, and etc. Nearby a large food court called A2 Food Court and shopping malls like Grand Batam Mall and Batam City Square Mall. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Standard room amenities. Lobby looks newly renovated. I believe some further renovation on going for breakfast restaurant and other parts of the hotel. Staffs are helpful like security guy helping with our luggage and receptionist keep us inform as soon as room available for early check-in. Overall, value for money accomodation."
