"Our 2nd time staying here and we booked a total of 4 rooms. All was good except that your breakfast can be improve with more selection like having a egg live station and a porridge section. Bread toaster as well was not working well, waited for 20mins and still the bread is not well toasted. We decided to go over to Golden View Hotel and pay for our breakfast on the 2nd morning. We had dinner on out first night but was disappointed with your dessert. Both the lava and cheese cake taste like it been kept for weeks, does not taste fresh."

"Overall is really a beautiful plc to rest and get away from the busy city life. I would like to suggest more drinking water provided to guests (either provide a water dispenser or additional water given). Per room per day is only given 2 small bottles of mineral water. Believe me, in our climate it is really insufficient. I felt so dehydrated. The drinks I can order from the restaurant are sweetened drinks. So that was really a drawback for me. They have a shop but they do not sell any mineral water. Breakfast is quite sad too.. I was expecting a bit more options for this location since it is secluded frm other eateries. Room service food was much better than the breakfast provided so I'm not sure why such a big difference in quality and taste. Communications in the hotel can be better too. I had informed reception 4 hours before check out for use of a buggy as our unit is very far. Nobody came for us. They called to remind us to check out and I told them yes, we are waiting for the buggy we requested. Subsequently I had to call another 3 times before someone came and the person was also very rude."

"It was my first time stay here and I impressed with this hotel. The check in took less than 10 mins and the rooms were ready too. The room is spacious and clean. Tv comes with a lot of channels to watch and the room service is 24/7. The housekeeping service was tip top. The room does not come with iron, but when we requested for 1, they provided us within 10 minutes. The spread for the breakfast was great too. Spacious, lots of seats and the topup for the food was fast. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and recommended for others to consider."

"At first, we were impressed by its simple, modern, stylish design and sparkling cleanliness. The room was spacious and had a partial sea view. However, during our 3D2N stay, the swimming pool remained closed due to strong winds. The weather was nice enough for a swim, so it was quite a misfortune. This should have been stated in their advertisements to let customers know that although the hotel has a pool, it is almost never open. The location is opposite the mall, but it’s dangerous for families with strollers or young children to cross the road."

"Multiple stays here. Still my favourite hotel due to its location and price. 5 minutes from harbour bay ferry terminal. Nice comfortable bed with strong hot shower. Nice coffee house on 4th floor. Good security with parking available. Will be back again."

"This is our second time staying in Oakwood in 2025. We return for the 2nd time mainly because of its superb location (just next to Batam Grand Mall), lots of Spas nearby and because its a very nice hotel with excellent customer service. It is very popular with both local n foreign tourists. So, due to this, book early. You probably wont be able to get early check-in due to high volume of guests. We stayed in the standard room n studio premier. Studio premier is slightly bigger with a kitchen cabinet, fridge, hob n hood, sink, utensils. But the room tend to be warm in the day as the room windows are facing east. Very comfy bed n pillows. Lots of TV chanels and you can login to ur netflix acct. Inroom dining is better than their buffet bfast. Lots of varieties for their buffet bfast. Recommneded to go to Aespa if you would like to go for a massage. Oakwood guests recieve discount. Their massage is very good."

"We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and booked 2 rooms it was truly a pleasant experience from start to finish. 🏨 Housekeeping did an excellent job every day they changed the bed sheets and towels daily and even topped up mineral water without us needing to ask. Everything was always clean and fresh. 🍽️ Breakfast was excellent with a good variety, and all the staff were very polite and attentive. ☕ At the lounge, the staff were friendly, polite, and always served with a smile it really made us feel at home. 💁♀️ The front desk staff were also professional, polite, and treated us like real valued guests.
