"Pls be mindful Hotel require deposit 100k IDR. When check out, the hotel will check the room first before u get your deposit back. Need to wait around 10mins. Can say cheap rate hotel with 2 breakfast just around rm125 per night. I chose this hotel bcos i arrived Batam night time, so no need fancy hotel hehe. The hotel is not shoplot hotel, the whole building is the hotel. At night quite noisy, not sure why, maybe there’s event at the ballroom hotel. The toilet room is average (quite smelly maybe bcos old hotel), not suitable for fussy person. Same goes to the bed and bed sheet. But the room is so spacious and have kiblat sign (for muslim prayer). Breakfast spread also average, suitable if you not eat much. But still have egg station. Nasi goreng, meehon goreng, cereals, also have. Overall still ok if you stay 1 night."

"The hotel is a bit old but is convenient and near Batam Ferry Centre by a few mins ride. The room is clean but the safe deposit is not working. Breakfast is not a lot but is good enough to include in the hotel fees which is cheap since i only stay one night. A lot of tourists using the pools especially the kids. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful too."

Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. "Best stay with this hotel. But bad experience booked with trip.com. As we arrived for check in there was a problem, receptionist said they dont receive our booking from trip.com. After 15mins later, they found out my booking under *******. They offered me for other room because my room curently full. A bit happy because they offer for 2single beds extra n room upgrade for free. I really love the room. Very spacious. On 2nd day we got our room as we booked before. Anyway i really happy with this hotel. Thankyou."

"First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"Location was very near to Harbour Bar Ferry Terminal. Stayed in the suite room, and it was spacious. Safe box and aircon were faulty and were rectified within 30mins. Stayed for 4 nights, but only ate the breakfast once as the food were cold. Receptionists were friendly."

"Pros: The room was large, everything you need, complimentary drinks and snacks etc. The room is dated but good value. Excellent staff. Cons: No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets. Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing. Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy."

"Decent hotel at a very strategic location. Many surrounding facilities like coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, convenient stores, bakeries, massage parlours, KTVs, and etc. Nearby a large food court called A2 Food Court and shopping malls like Grand Batam Mall and Batam City Square Mall. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Standard room amenities. Lobby looks newly renovated. I believe some further renovation on going for breakfast restaurant and other parts of the hotel. Staffs are helpful like security guy helping with our luggage and receptionist keep us inform as soon as room available for early check-in. Overall, value for money accomodation."
