Just a short ferry ride from Singapore, Mövenpick Resort and Spa Bintan Lagoon offers an ideal escape on a pristine beach. Combining Swiss hospitality with tropical charm, the resort boasts 420 rooms with breathtaking ocean views. Guests can enjoy Port 19 live cooking, Yokatta Izakaya & Bar, Klon - Tong Deli's pastries, and Chocolate Hour. Beyond dining, guests can unwind in a lagoon-style pools or explore the Recreation Village, home to fitness centre and studio. Golf enthusiasts can also indulge in the resort's access to two world-class golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch. For Meeting & Events, we offer Bintan's largest conference space of 2,000 sqm, with a 900 sqm pillarless Grand Ballroom, 11 versatile venues, and outdoor areas for team-building, all supported by our professional team to deliver customized programs.

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Resort & Lagoon Bintan. From the moment we arrived at the ferry terminal, the complimentary shuttle bus transfer to the resort was seamless, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. Considering the resort has only recently opened, everything was well-organised and the facilities were impressive. There were still a few areas where work was being carried out, but that was completely understandable and didn’t affect our stay. In fact, it made us even more excited to see how the resort will continue to grow and what new experiences they’ll introduce in the future. The property itself is huge, with plenty to do for guests of all ages. There’s a gym, spa, Pilates classes, and a recreational village featuring a mini arcade, pool tables, foosball, and table tennis. You can also rent bicycles or e-bikes to explore the resort, including a designated cycling route that passes by the beach. The resort is perfect for both couples looking for a relaxing getaway and families wanting activities to keep everyone entertained. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. There are three swimming pools in total—a large main pool and two smaller pools—so it never felt too crowded. At the beach club, you can also rent kayaks and take part in other water activities. One of my favourite touches was the complimentary Chocolate Hour from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It was a lovely experience and one of the unique features that makes a stay at Mövenpick feel special. That said, we were slightly disappointed by what happened after we checked out. As our ferry departure was still a couple of hours away, we were waiting at the hotel and thought we would try our luck by asking if we could enjoy Chocolate Hour one last time. Unfortunately, our request was declined unless we paid an additional fee. While we completely understand the policy, it would have been a thoughtful gesture to extend this small courtesy to departing guests who are simply waiting for their transportation. It would have left an even more memorable impression of an otherwise wonderful stay. I could honestly go on about everything this resort has to offer. There are also different activities organised throughout the week, such as batik painting and bracelet making, so there’s always something new to try. Mövenpick Resort & Lagoon Bintan truly feels like an all-in-one destination where you can relax, stay active, and never run out of things to do. We’d love to return in the future—not just because we enjoyed our stay so much, but also to see how the resort continues to evolve as it settles into this exciting new chapter."

We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

Sadi Beach House

Our stay at Said Beach House was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff truly went above and beyond for us – not just doing the bare minimum, but consistently making the extra effort to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, genuine hospitality and thoughtfulness really made the experience so much more special, and it's honestly what stood out to us the most. The food was also great and always prepared on time... everything was seamless and well-organised throughout our stay! The villa itself was very cozy, well-kept and exceptionally clean. It was a comfortable space to come back to after a long day of activities. Just a small tip: do remember to keep the doors closed to prevent insects or mosquitoes from entering. Speaking of that, Sadi Beach House is definitely a place where you will feel very connected to nature. You may occasionally come across insects or lizards (or even stray cats!), but it really ads to the overall experience rather than taking away from it – it's all part of the charm. The location was perfect for us. While amenities like minimarts may be a little further out, it meant that the area was incredibly quiet and peaceful, especially at night. It's the ideal place if you're looking to unwind and take a break from the noise and pace of city life. Overall, we had such a lovely stay and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing staff who made everything feel so effortless and welcoming! I would absolutely recommend Sadi Beach House to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Indigos Bintan・A Candid Review After a Five-Day, Four-Night Stay Having just completed a five-day, four-night stay, overall, this is a 'beautiful and Instagrammable' resort. However, for those planning a four-night consecutive stay, there are a few practical points to be aware of. Beach and Water Activities The sand on the beach is quite fine and white, but at low tide, the tidal flats are very shallow and mixed with small stones, making it unsuitable for direct swimming. On the other hand, it’s perfect for using the complimentary (30-minute) kayaks and stand-up paddleboards provided by the hotel – the equipment is new, you can launch directly from the beach, and the staff even offer basic instruction, which is a big plus. Spending an hour or two here each day is a great way to enjoy the sun and work off the delicious food. Poolside Breakfast Breakfast is served semi-buffet style at SugarBEATS, with seating right by the pool. Enjoying your meal by the poolside truly adds to the vacation vibe. The food is refined, especially the Indonesian fried rice and freshly prepared Pho, but the selection isn't extensive, and eating there for four consecutive days can feel a bit repetitive. Biggest Pain Point: Only One Restaurant in the Entire Hotel This is my biggest gripe. You're stuck eating dinner at the same place, and by the third night, I was at a loss for what to order. The prices aren't cheap, but the food is just average. I highly recommend bringing your own snacks or simply walking five minutes to the Holiday Inn next door for more dining options. Other Minor Drawbacks While the greenery is lovely, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so you need to open and close the balcony door quickly. Soundproofing at night is mediocre; footsteps in the corridor are clearly audible. Summary If you're drawn by the design and service, a 2-3 day stay would be paradise. However, five days and four nights is definitely on the longer side. Remember to plan at least two days for excursions (like the mangrove tour or Blue Lake), otherwise, you might get bored. I'd give it an overall score of 8.5/10 – it offered pleasant surprises, but didn't quite reach full marks.

The hotel is quite old but well-maintained, and the service is good. However, they have a restrictive policy: each room is strictly limited to two occupants. If you have an additional person, even an underage child, they charge an extra $120 per night, even if no extra bed is needed. Since it's an all-villa resort, you need to call a car to get anywhere, which makes getting around a bit inconvenient, although the cars do arrive quickly.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

Stayed there for 4 days 3 nights for surprise birthday celebration! Gonna start off with the security at the entrance. It was good as they seem to really checked on who or which guest was entering the resort. 👍🏻 The resort was very nice, so spacious , very clean as well! The pool is really well maintain. Bed is super comfy. Have Netflix on TV. Requested for a room deco for surprise birthday , even tho the date of the deco gotten wrong, appreciate the reservation officer came personally to actually apologies. But I have to say the birthday deco is very pretty. I love it The team member and all the staff are very friendly , approachable and helpful. Prompt reply from the team In WhatsApp whenever anything was requested or asked Service was definitely 💯👍🏻 Ordered room service on the first day we arrived for dinner ( as it was late and raining outside ) - The food was actually really tasty. Breakfast was normal, not too bad, have nice beach view to enjoy. Arranged a romantic dinner for birthday , but sadly it’s raining heavily , location have to shift to inside the restaurant instead of by the beach. The setup was ok ok . Staff was so nice to sing a birthday song :) . Food was nice too , no complain Overall happy with my stay, it was a good experience, wish I could stay a little more longer ! Will definitely recommend my friends and family here. Thank you to all team from Pantai Indah :)

Our stay at Natra Bintan was such an amazing experience for us as a couple 🤍 We decided to go on a weekday, and honestly that was the best decision because the whole place felt so peaceful, calm, and private. The atmosphere was very relaxing with beautiful views and a quiet environment perfect for escaping from busy routines and spending quality time together. From the moment we arrived, the service was really good. The staff were all very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable all the time. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and cozy, and everything was well prepared for guests. What we loved most was the overall vibe of the resort. It’s not just about the stay, but the feeling you get there slow mornings, relaxing walks, enjoying the lagoon view, and having peaceful moments together without rushing anything. It truly felt like a short healing trip for both of us ✨ Definitely recommended for couples who want a romantic, relaxing, and peaceful getaway. We would love to come back again someday 🤍

Initially we were excited and found the resort very beautiful with beautiful beaches n lots of good food. The whole experience was marred due to the check-out episode which we believe should not have happened. The towels which should have been changed every day, were not changed accordingly but we did not complain. The episode of a missing bathrobe which we used on the 2nd day was informed when checking out. We were actually quite pissed off, the reason why we checked out so early was because we need to take the earliest ferry back to Malaysia and yet we are delayed because of the missing bathrobe... who in their right mind would want to steal your wet damp bathrobe? After nearly half an hour of explaining, the man manning the receptionist counter finally allowed us to go. Luckily thanks to our drivers who managed to reach the Ferry Terminal safely especially thru the long n winding road to the Terminal.

Stayed in the private pool ocean view villa, and it was one of the best villas I’ve ever visited! 😍 The villa itself was beautiful: * 🚽 Japanese/Korean heated toilet * 🚿 Large shower * 🛀 Large bathtub * 🪞 Couple’s sink with plenty of space * 🛏️ Big, comfortable bed The ocean is clear and unpolluted, and each villa comes with an inflatable paddle—high tide was so fun, and low tide lets you spot little fishes. It felt like a private beach —perfect for fun and amazing photos with no photo bombers.✨The pool was perfect too, cleaned daily, and the resort was very private and peaceful. 💡 If I were to share my advice 🤿 Go snorkeling! My biggest regret was not going 🥺. If the water in front of the villa is already this clear and full of fish, I can only imagine the snorkeling spots. 🐠 🍽️ The Ocean Restaurant was excellent—fresh local fish and seafood noodles for 385k IDR. I only wish I tried the mud crab! 🥲 https://oneofakindbintan.github.io/oneofakindbintanmenu/ocean/mobile/index.html Room Service Menu 🚲 Free bicycles are available—just ask reception and they’ll deliver them to your villa. 💆♀️ Book a spa session—I spent so much time researching spas before the trip, only to find that the resort itself offers affordable spa packages. I didn’t plan enough time for it 🤏🥲 but it’s seriously worth it. 💡 My advice: Stay in the ocean view villa—it’s absolutely worth it. Transport is easy to arrange, but this level of ocean view and privacy at this price is rare. ✨ The best vacations are the ones with regrets from not knowing more—so go for this. A true hidden gem—100% worth visiting! 🌊💙 ❤️ Huge thank you to the manager and team for their outstanding hospitality and excellent service. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more memorable.

Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.
