"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at Mövenpick Bintan – Special Mention to Michelle! This was my first time visiting Bintan and also my first stay at Mövenpick Bintan, and honestly, choosing this resort was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The resort is huge, and since there is so much to explore within the property, they provide buggy services to bring guests around, which is really convenient. As Bintan doesn’t have a huge variety of attractions to explore outside the resort, we specifically wanted somewhere that could keep us entertained for 3 days and Mövenpick definitely delivered. We stayed while the resort is still under soft opening, so naturally there may be a few minor things that are still being fine-tuned. However, what impressed me the most was the service attitude of the entire team. Every staff member we met was professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. They always had a smile, proactively approached guests to check if we needed anything, and even took the time to have small conversations with us. I’m also a hotelier myself, so I can confidently say that the team here is doing a really great job, especially considering they are still in their soft-opening phase. A very special mention to Michelle, who assisted us during check-in. From the very beginning, Michelle was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a smooth and seamless experience throughout our stay. We did encounter a minor room issue during our stay, but she immediately followed up and made sure it was resolved as quickly as possible. What I appreciated even more was that she didn’t just solve the problem and walk away. Throughout our entire stay, she would proactively approach us and check whether everything was okay and whether we were enjoying our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference. Michelle is honestly one of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered, and I truly hope the management recognises her efforts. She is definitely an asset to the resort. The Kids Club is huge, and our kids absolutely loved it! They even have a sleeping room and movie room for the little ones, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The resort also has multiple swimming pools, including the ocean pool, kids’ pool and the pool at the beach club, so there’s always somewhere different to enjoy. I personally loved all the little details around the resort, especially the kids’ amenities. Even the shower amenities provided for children were so thoughtfully prepared. It’s these small touches that really show the resort has put a lot of thought into the family experience. We also absolutely loved the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of choices, including plenty of pastries, desserts and even ice cream! One of my favourite touches was the kids’ corner, where children can actually get their own food. It may seem like a small thing, but it made breakfast more fun for our kids and was definitely a plus point for us as parents. Overall, despite still being in the soft-opening stage, we had a really wonderful 3 day stay at Mövenpick Bintan The combination of the beautiful and spacious resort, family-friendly facilities, thoughtful little details, great food and most importantly the genuinely warm service from the staff made our stay memorable. For our first trip to Bintan, I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can simply stay in the resort, relax, enjoy the facilities and keep the kids entertained for a few days, Mövenpick Bintan is definitely worth considering. "Stayed in the private pool ocean view villa, and it was one of the best villas I’ve ever visited! 😍 The villa itself was beautiful: * 🚽 Japanese/Korean heated toilet * 🚿 Large shower * 🛀 Large bathtub * 🪞 Couple’s sink with plenty of space * 🛏️ Big, comfortable bed The ocean is clear and unpolluted, and each villa comes with an inflatable paddle—high tide was so fun, and low tide lets you spot little fishes. It felt like a private beach —perfect for fun and amazing photos with no photo bombers.✨The pool was perfect too, cleaned daily, and the resort was very private and peaceful. 💡 If I were to share my advice 🤿 Go snorkeling! My biggest regret was not going 🥺. If the water in front of the villa is already this clear and full of fish, I can only imagine the snorkeling spots. 🐠 🍽️ The Ocean Restaurant was excellent—fresh local fish and seafood noodles for 385k IDR. I didn’t plan enough time for it 🤏🥲 but it’s seriously worth it. 💡 My advice: Stay in the ocean view villa—it’s absolutely worth it. Transport is easy to arrange, but this level of ocean view and privacy at this price is rare. ✨ The best vacations are the ones with regrets from not knowing more—so go for this. A true hidden gem—100% worth visiting! 🌊💙 ❤️ Huge thank you to the manager and team for their outstanding hospitality and excellent service. "The main attraction is beach combing during low tide everyday, the water is shallow and very clear, full of seashells, crabs and little fishes. Really fun. There is also a jetty u can see many fishes in the sea, it's a short walk from the resort ( bet can see different species if u go at night with a powerful torch). There is also a local mini mart to buy things on the other side. Kampongs with 🐔 chicken farms around and many local fisherman fishing. A lot of stars at night if there is no moon or clouds. Overall a wonderful experience for nature lovers and kids to explore. However the tv resolution is bad, the food serving is little and the transport and other activities are quite expensive, no hair conditioner and have to ask for insect repellent. The staff are all very nice. Hopefully they address these and provide more activities, it's such a wonderful beach, more people should come."
