"Breakfast was good, location good. However, the room is too small and bathroom is capsule type whereby we are able to hear the water sound came from next door. Cleanliness - they don't clean the room daily. Clean on the 4th night , they called it eco cleaning.
So we left on 4th day so no cleaning at all after staying 3 nights. Lift stopped by every floor. If you need to take breakfast please go a bit early as the lift will stop every floor during breakfast time as too much people"

"Stayed at Arban hotel for 4 nights, was allocated the room on floor 11 and had a good and restful night sleep.
Things I like
- one king sized bed and one single bed. Good for my mum and myself.
- I love the LG steaming cabinet(ideal for those who are there for a longer period).
- near to many eateries/restaurants.
Things I didn’t like
- there is no door for the toilet, really strange. Was given the option of hanging up a shower curtain (however staff will expect you to retrieve it from the front desk and expect you to hang up on your own). I guess this is what to expect from a 3 star hotel.
- front desk staff are not very helpful and lukewarm attitude. (I ask them about luggage delivery and staff just handed a sign and ask my to check it out myself). Couldn’t ask too many questions as he didn’t seem happy to help.
- only small bar soap is provided, no toothbrush/toothpaste. There was even a used shower cap hanging in our toilet when we checked in.
-didn’t like the recycled room slippers provided. (Didn’t feel hygienic).
- there was a music festival happening outside the hotel on the day I was checking out and taxi couldn’t stop outside the hotel.
- no proper hotel lobby"

"Location: A prime spot in Haeundae, just a 5-minute walk to Sky100 and a 10-minute walk to delicious seafood hot pot. Excellent.
Room: The family sea-view room was an absolute steal at just over 500 (Korean Won, I assume) per night, including breakfast. It had a balcony with sea views, offering fantastic value for money. There was even a UV sterilizer cabinet for clothes in the room.
Breakfast: The breakfast spread was incredibly generous, with plenty of meat and vegetables to fill up on. My favorites were the broccoli and hash browns – absolutely delicious.
Pet-Friendly: I really appreciate pet-friendly hotels in Korea. Unlike some places where it feels like a facade just to make money, this hotel truly embraces it. The third floor has a dedicated pet care area and play zone. For breakfast, there's even a separate glass-enclosed section where pets and their owners can dine together.
Hotel Service: I'm not sure if it's because South Korea is particularly safe, but when we stored our luggage, the front desk staff didn't give us a claim tag and simply put it in the storage area on the first floor. That struck me as a bit odd."

"The hotel's location is excellent; the beach is just across the street, and you can see it from the lobby. The family room was great, very clean, and quite spacious. The sofa in the room faces the window, perfect for enjoying a coffee while admiring the sea – very comfortable.
It's quite convenient to take a taxi from Busan Station to the hotel. If you don't have much luggage, you can also take the subway; the Exit 5 of Line 5 is on the pedestrian street, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel is very close to the pedestrian street, offering plenty of dining options.

"Right outside the hotel is a bus stop, which we used frequently, making getting around incredibly convenient. It's also not far from the subway station, and the surrounding area has a wide variety of shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff are friendly. The only thing to note, which is different from China, is that they don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste. However, there's a vending machine at the hotel where you can buy them, and a convenience store right next door also sells them."

"Had an excellent stay at Lotte Hotel Busan. The location is unbeatable, right in Seomyeon with direct access to shopping, restaurants, and public transport, making it extremely convenient for sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing and a nice city view.
Service throughout the hotel was professional and warm, from check-in to housekeeping. Staff were attentive and efficient, always ready to help with requests. The facilities are well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels upscale yet welcoming.
A great balance of comfort, convenience, and quality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Busan, whether for leisure or business."

I hope you will experience a break even in your busy daily life at Shilla Stay Haeundae, which gives satisfaction to both travelers and business travelers.
"Reception staff were not friendly and helpful.
Room was big and clean, and housekeeping staff were polite.
Take note that early Nov in autumn they will disable the aircon and only provide heating so the room remains permanently at 28 degrees - belatedly realised there were other reviewers who warned about this. Staff will advise you to open the window if you feel stuffy and hot. However, this means noise from traffic and the baseball batting cage located next to the hotel. But I guess noise is better than getting a heatstroke.
Pretty close walk to haeundae station, and convenient to have a convenience store downstairs and McDonald’s across the road."

Great
GGuest UserOver all a good stay and the rooms is quite big and with kitchen amenities. The TV is already a smart tv too. The location is convenient, right above Haeundae Station. Our room did not have a bidet. Please note though that this hotel shares the same building with other “hotels”. We had to wait for a long time for the elevators as it is always full during checkout hours.
AAnonymous Userlove this hotel! the view is spectacular. it's walking distance to songjeong beach - a suburb with just enough of cafes and restaurants around, and reserves the peacefulness and quietness around the ocean. perfect for a getaway from the busy city.
GGuest UserThe reception staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even providing a complimentary Chinese map. Our room on the 7th floor was quite spacious. From the balcony, we had lovely views of the inner bay and a large sports/fitness complex, which gave the area a lively, local feel. Downstairs, there's a seafood BBQ; the eel and shellfish were on the pricey side, but they were definitely very fresh.

Great
EExpatI really like this hotel. The staff on the 12th floor was absolutely amazing. One thing to note about this particular hotel is that holidays have very strict rules in that there are no special requests. One thing I did not like is the fact that they wanted to take down a credit card number when I checked in even though I’m using trip.com. I understand that there are not special requests and checkout times are not very flexible during holidays, though I do feel the fact that I could not use the swimming pool on the day of checkout after my checkout time of 11 AM was unreasonable. Because I had a late flight going back to Shanghai, I felt it would’ve been more appropriate to allow me to use the pool after I checked out so I could utilize my time at the hotel a little bit better. There is an alternative terrace for people who smoke cigarettes. there are some room rooms which allow pets, and I think my room was treated well considering that. The air conditioner goes directly onto the bed, so maybe I had to get up a couple of times to turn it off or on.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Although there was not a luggage rack, I was able to make it work in terms of the seating area in the room. The view from the hotel room was really nice because you could see the train station. The walking distance to the bus stop was good. I don’t understand those little call-girl cards at the entrance, but I think that’s just part of Busan.
The hotel had nearby bus service and the train station was only 350 m away next to the bus stop. The view from the pool was beautiful even though there’s a lot of buildings in the process of development. the buildings under construction had their lights on at night so it made everything really pretty and photogenic. The food was delicious, though I do think it was a little bit overpriced. I do appreciate the free perfume and feel the breakfast was tastey as well. I would actually stay there again because of the price and hope that they can expand their luggage storage area so the lobby looks a little bit more inviting.

Very Good
MmelissasunshineWe had such a positive experience staying here last March that we booked another stay for December, drawn back primarily by the excellent location. Unfortunately, our second visit was quite disappointing as the rooms were showing significant signs of neglect, including mould growth throughout the space.
While the room itself was spacious enough to accommodate the three of us, the overall condition left much to be desired. The bathroom in particular is in urgent need of upgrades, and the lack of adequate table space was a major inconvenience. We struggled to find places to keep our belongings, with only a small front table available. This led to us having to charge our devices on the floor, which created a tripping hazard near the power sockets; adding to the problem, the sockets were inconsistent, with some being loose or non-functional, meaning we had to test each one to find those that worked.
The property appears to be falling into disrepair in several areas. The bathroom doors were misaligned with nails sticking out, and the floors had uneven bumps that could become dangerous if they wear down and expose sharp edges.
On the positive side, the location remains incredibly convenient. It's just a two-minute walk from Nampo Station, Exit 3. The availability of a washing machine and dryer is also helpful for travellers, though there are limitations here too. The facilities are only accessible until 9pm, which clashes with the schedule of many guests who return later in the evening, shower, and then the need to do laundry. With only one machine and one dryer available, wait times are often long, and by the time it’s our turn, it’s nearly time for the facilities to close. Adding more machines or extending the operating hours would make a significant difference to guest comfort.
We sincerely hope the hotel invests in renovation and regular maintenance work soon. The property has great potential thanks to its prime location, but without proper upkeep, it risks becoming unsafe and unappealing for visitors.

PPearl ChoiGood and affordable hotel for Busan. We didn't have a close view to the beach but were still able to see it from a higher viewpoint (with the city as well). Although the room is small, it was very clean. Location was perfect too as it was near busses that take you to tourist areas and back to Busan Station.
The only thing that didn't work was the lamp post on the bedside table.
SShang7749Overall review: Worth staying.
Space: The double bed was a bit small, not a standard double. The room itself wasn't large, but generally adequate. The bathroom was a bit cramped; at 185cm tall, my knees almost touched the wall when using the toilet, practically facing it.
Amenities: Can't complain. Though small, it had everything you need. The AC and mini-fridge worked great, and there was a hairdryer and slippers, which was excellent.
Location: Situated between Nampo and Jagalchi stations, it's generally a 10-minute walk to either subway station. The seafood market is right outside, and a night market street is next door, making dining super convenient. Lotte Department Store is a 10-minute walk away, with a shopping street across from it. The downside is that it's quite far from Haeundae, over an hour's journey. Main attractions near the hotel include Gamcheon Culture Village, Songdo Cable Car, Busan Tower, and Huinnyeoul Culture Village. Major attractions covered by the Busan Pass, such as Lotte World Adventure, luge, yacht tours, and the Haeundae Blueline Park coastal train, are all over an hour away.

GGuest UserThe good
- clean room
- very comfortable bed and bedding
- great sound proofing within the hotel
- great if you’re going out all day
The bad
- I stayed 4 days and there was only 1x housekeeping. I was told this on check in. But this was not on the booking details. You have to inform them before 1pm each day.
- a semi wet bathroom
- facing the main road, you can hear the vehicles (I was on the 7th floor)
- toiletries are not provided and need to be purchased from vending machine (not a problem but should be listed on booking)
- other than Nampo, and Jalgachi seafood market. There’s not much around, and it’s quite far from everything else in Busan.
- I asked for an extra pillow 1 night, and the front desk said “house keeping has closed for the day”. Ok even if that’s the case, surely they can go into the store room themselves to get me an extra pillow. I wasn’t asking for them to clean or anything.
- this weird vending machine looking thing was also on my counter and it didn’t even work. No clue what it’s for.
