"The hotel is a bit far from the subway station, so we mostly relied on taxis to get around. While the hotel was clean and the room was spacious, the internal layout felt a bit awkward."

"The room itself was pretty nice, 2 huge double beds, large bathroom and also a table. Would've been more convenient if there was a microwave not just a huge fridge-freezer. There was also a hairdryer, kettle, two cups, and small bottled water in the fridge.  Felt very cold at night in March as there seemed to be no heating, just an aircon so I ended up using the duvet from the spare bed to keep warm. There is a fake fireplace for the vibes but again, no warmth😂 Breakfast, disposable amenities, ramen, use of the washing machines all incur additional fees.  Close to convenience stores and well known restaurants. About a +15 minute walk to/from Busan station (ktx). There is one very slow crossing on the way to the station that takes a while to go green.  Could not hear any noise from the rooms, but can hear what’s happening in the corridor, and people super sensitive to sound might be bothered by (what I think was the trains?) running til late."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It was very clean, and despite its small size, it had everything I needed. The front desk staff were also very polite and gentlemanly. The affordable price was a real bonus. There's also a clean and trendy noodle shop nearby with excellent service."

"Very convenient location to get around Busan city. Buses, subway, convenience stores all very close. Staff were friendly and helpful, very clean and the shower and bath were so good. Definitely will stay again if we come back to Busan."

"The room was quite clean, though very small. The location is incredibly convenient; you can see the hotel just to the left of Busan Station Exit 1, only about a 100-meter walk. It's also right next to Busan Subway Station Exit 6, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really handy. The downside is the poor soundproofing; there was intermittent noise from what sounded like a motor, and the toilet flushing was extremely loud."

"View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare."

"After staying at the Toyoko Hotel a few blocks away and hearing all the noise and how loud and careless housekeeping was I decided to try out the Brown Dot Hotel. It was a much larger room, cleanliness was on point, staff were fast and simple, the House keeping staff did their jobs somehow without us ever hearing them like they were ninjas, there was little to no noise whatsoever inside the room from the outside. I give it a 10/10 and will be staying more in the future!!"

"Super good location for a shopping and sightseeing 🫰 Place has weak soundproof. Untill 2 a.m. other tourist behaved loud and it was not possible to sleep. Was not possible to open a window cause kitchen vents from neighbor buildings face same direction as mine window. The result whenever I tried to open a window I had a constant smell of food. Front desc is super helpful and friendly 🫰 Big thanks for keeping my luggage while I was in Fukuoka. Really appreciate that 🫰 Love youre rooftop 🫰"

"It's about a 10-minute walk to Daiso or Olive Young; the cleanliness could be improved, but overall they're quite good. It's a 15-minute walk to Seomyeon Station, which is inconvenient with luggage. Hotels near the subway are generally quite expensive, but this one is relatively affordable, so I recommend it to those on a budget. A taxi ride back to China from here to the airport takes about 30 minutes and costs around 17,000 won."

"Everything was perfect! I'd read reviews saying the front desk staff weren't always present, but they were there during the hours I used the service. I was a bit anxious checking in as I don't speak Japanese, but they spoke English slowly and clearly, and I understood everything perfectly. (I think they might use a translation app, which is a good idea.) The room was exactly like the photos, but even more comfortable than I imagined – I absolutely loved it! I almost didn't want to leave the hotel, it was so nice. So, instead of having a break at a cafe, I brought everything back to the hotel for tea time. Because the view is just incredible! You can see Busan Tower right from the room! My kids were also thrilled with the spacious room, spending time on the balcony and rolling around. I stayed for two nights, but apparently, room cleaning only starts from three nights or more. However, they hung fresh towels on the doorknob, so it was no problem at all. I definitely want to stay here again! *Ü*"
