"Baan Hin Sai Resort & Spa — Samui, Thailand This hotel is all about nature, tranquility, and the feeling of living right inside a jungle. The hotel grounds are incredibly well integrated into the surrounding landscape: lush greenery, massive rocks, and varying elevations – everything looks completely natural, without the impression that nature was 'forced' to accommodate construction. During our stay, we saw monitor lizards on the property twice. They scurry away and hide immediately, but the very fact of having such neighbors is more of a positive, confirming that the place is alive and authentic. It's really cool that the hotel exists in harmony with the natural environment, rather than instead of it. Upon check-in, we were offered drinks (though quite sweet), and they thoroughly answered all our questions. Throughout our stay, they were always available and assisted with any issues that came up. Guests are driven around the property by Thai staff in two electric buggies, which is convenient given the hotel's terrain and size. Every evening, musicians play and sing at the bar near the reception. The atmosphere is very lively and warm: you can dance, sing karaoke, and they even offer complimentary alcoholic cocktails, which is a pleasant and unexpected touch. Mornings here are a special delight. There's a stunning view of the sunrise, the sea breaking against the coastal rocks, and lots of sea foam. It's incredibly beautiful and meditative. The sea is clean. Breakfasts are buffet-style, but without a 'wow' factor. Our rating for the food is 6 out of 10: neither the presentation, approach, taste, nor variety impressed us. We didn't have lunch, dinner, or the festive menu, so we're only rating the breakfasts. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. This is one of the hotel's strong advantages. We used the pool with views of the sea and rocks – the pool was clean, and we never saw anyone else in it during our entire stay, which added to the sense of seclusion and privacy. Ratings: Grounds: 8 / 10 Room: 7 / 10 Food (breakfasts): 6 / 10 PS for the hotel: It would be great to create a hub area near the reception – a place where guests could spend time during the day and evening. A table tennis table, billiards, and a small area with a pull-up bar and parallel bars would fit in perfectly."

"I think most reviews are from people in their young 20's. They want to party( the hotel is situated right in the busy area of Chaweng) and don't need qualitysleep. Us on the otherhand need a comfortable matras and quietness. That are the things you are not getting here. The sun was on the windows and if the airconditioning(which makes a lot of noise) was off , it was a sauna. We fell asleep at 4am , finally, and got woken up again bij the first airplane 6.55 am. Not for us here!"

The location on the beach is an asset, the large swimming pool is appreciable, the rooms are spacious, the catering is of good quality and the staff is professional, pleasant and attentive. The masseuses on the beach provide you with quality services. The value for money is great!"

"Excellent location, quiet rooms with comfortable bed and good aircon. When the sea is calm, it is so relaxing on the beach. Bean bags great for day & evening chilling. Excellent staff. Pizza fab day or night. Happy hour G&T was a welcome offering. Varied music around the pool gave a good happy vibe without being over the top. Loved you could walk into the sea on soft sand. Mall/ bars/restaurants on doorstep.. short walk outside Resort entrance. Close to airport so some air noise when flights arrive/depart. Did not notice after 1st day. Tip. Mozi plug-in is a must in all of Asia. Friendly beach vendors. All ages hotel."

"I’m staying for three days, and I’m a bit torn about it. Let’s start with the cons: 1. The room is small and a bit dated, and it could really use a makeover inside. 2. The shower drain in the bathroom is clogged, so if you shower and water splashes into the toilet, it won’t drain because it’s stuck there. 3. The walkway can be a bit bumpy if you’re staying near the beach, so it might not be the best option for seniors or people with mobility issues. 4. It’s a bit of a trek from the city center, so you’ll need to rent a car. Now, the pros: 1. The service is amazing, and the staff are super friendly! 2. They have their own bar and restaurant at a reasonable price. Plus, they offer motorcycle rentals, kayaking, snorkeling gear, and laundry services. 3. It’s absolutely beautiful! The views are incredible! This is their own private beach, and almost every corner is perfect for Instagram."

"Clean, beautiful, located in front of a wonderful little beach. I would definitely return to this hotel again. They provided me with a free upgrade to a sea breeze room, with beautiful views of the ocean and the pool. The staff could not have been more attentive, kind and hardworking. The classes provided at the hotel are fantastic; I participated in hand massage, stretching and 2 beginner Muay Thai classes, all of which were fascinating and fun. I’d recommend this hotel based on the staff and classes alone, but the rooms are also beautiful and well serviced. One thing to be aware of is you are next to a busy road, which can be noisy at night due to fast cars and scooters travelling down it, but no big issue."

"The room 304 was ready when we arrived. Aye front desk receptionist accompanied us and showed us the room as it was late The room is spacious with an exit to the private jacuzzi. Ay1e Thuzar from housekeeping greeted us every morning with a smile and left the room spotless with clean towels and amenities.Maung from food a beverage also greetedd us in the beachfront dining area and later on the beach. Finally Ron crom the night shift who made sure we got to the airport before sunrise"

"This was my third stay here; twice I've been in a beachfront villa, and once when I couldn't book one, I opted for a sea view villa, which instantly halved my experience. If it's your first time in Koh Samui and you want an unbeatable sea view room with hotel amenities, I highly recommend the beachfront villas at Silavadee. **Hotel Pros:** The stunning, unbeatable ocean views are immediately apparent and absolutely breathtaking. Furthermore, the room design and maintenance are excellent; it's a wooden structure full of holiday charm that doesn't feel damp or moldy despite being by the sea, remaining fresh and tidy. The hotel service is spot on. Whether it's room service or restaurant service, they respond promptly to requests, and the prices are reasonable! **Things to consider for your stay:** The transportation is a bit inconvenient. Since it's on a hill, there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance apart from the hotel's own. We rented a motorbike from the hotel, so it didn't affect us. The hotel beach is just average; it's a bit small, and walking further in can be a bit rough on the feet. The waves are often too strong for water sports, but since we mostly relaxed in our room, it wasn't an issue for us."

"The room was fantastic — big, clean, with a good interior and great materials. However, the bathroom does not separate the wet and dry zones. There is a big bathtub attached to the toilet. You have to shower in the bathtub and everything gets wet The hotel seems to be short-staffed, which affects the overall service quality. The staff seemed too tired, which is why they were not very friendly. there was a lack of coordination between the breakfast area and the front desk staff. The parking area was quite limited and narrow Even though I requested special needs through the Trip App. I did not receive them."
