The room and bathroom are spacious. Complete room facilities The disadvantage is that the parking lot is very little. Cars are difficult to park, the guard at night does not help to carry the car as it should be. The restaurant closes very quickly, after going to the evening is closed, but the breakfast is delicious. There is no central torture in the room.

I stayed here 30 years ago and it still a beautifully run quaint little place right on the oven. The rooms are clean and modern, the grounds are lush and green, the breakfast has so much variety and staff are so kind and accommodating. Yes there are many new super resorts on this island but they are way in the hills... Why not stay near the ocean in a more laid-back resort.

Excellent vacation at a great hotel. The sand on the beach is fine, like powder. The attentive hotel staff set up sun loungers, and there are enough for everyone. It's only 30 meters from the room to the beach. We didn't even bother with slippers. Each bungalow has its own foot wash tap. Breakfast is served by the sea. The menu varies (but it's not a buffet). There's a central store a 5-minute walk away, and a nightclub nearby.

I stayed at Arkbar for 2 nights and unfortunately, it was a very mixed experience. The positives: The location is definitely great—right on the beach and close to everything in Koh Samui. Check-in was quick and easy. The facilities, especially the pool and beach area, are nice and lively during the day. The negatives (and they outweigh the positives): Noise: Sleeping here is nearly impossible unless you’re planning to be out partying all night yourself. It’s not just the music (which I expected), but the guests—people shouting in the hallways at 3am and again at 6am, waking me up both nights. Cleanliness: Honestly unacceptable. The bed sheets were stained, had hairs, and even bugs. The bathroom was filthy—handprints on the mirror, used cotton buds on the floor, and grime in the shower. I called to have it cleaned, but they only changed the bed sheets. Customer Service: When I told the manager about the room at checkout, her response was just “sorry, no one told me,” which doesn’t really cut it. Only after I mentioned leaving a review did she offer a “free breakfast voucher”—which was a joke, as it didn’t even cover a full meal and drink. Restaurant: Speaking of food, I tried the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was the blandest thing I’ve ever tasted. Overpriced, underwhelming, and disappointing overall. No discounts for guests at their own bar or restaurant either, which felt stingy considering the prices and what you get for it. For the amount of money I paid, this was absolutely not good enough. Unless you only care about partying and don’t plan to sleep or care about cleanliness, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. Would not recommend.

First of all, I'd like to extend a huge thank you to the hotel! I honestly didn't expect to have such a great vacation in Asia! 🥹 Let's start with the staff! I have to commend their perfect work! They do everything so quietly, you barely notice their presence! But they are definitely working! Always with pleasant smiles, greetings, and ready to help! 🥹 Regarding the rooms: we stayed as a family of 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 11 years old). We ran into some difficulties here. The family room didn't accommodate 4 people (although the room description said it would), so I had to contact Trip.com support! And you won't believe it! They reimbursed me for the difference the hotel charged for the extra bed. (In total, the hotel charged 1000 baht per day for accommodation + meals for the 7-year-old child). The room itself was very spacious, stylish, and comfortable! A huge balcony with a table and chairs! 🥹 The hotel also provides waffle bathrobes! I want to especially highlight the location! It's perfect! There's a huge night market nearby with European food! (Moms will understand), and Thai cafes are also available! The sea in this area in June is ideal. I specifically went to Chaweng to swim, but I liked it more here! There were enough sun loungers for everyone, even during peak times! The sand was cleaned! The beach was cleared of trash and the sand was raked! ❤️ Just a few more words about breakfast! I know how important this is for parents! The children could always find something to eat! A huge selection of fruits. Eggs in any form, muesli! They even made mashed potatoes (not from powder)! The only thing, as others have mentioned, is the excessive amount of chlorine in the pool! The smell was even noticeable outside. Perhaps the hotel should pay attention to this! Overall, I *highly* recommend it! I will definitely return! Oh! And the cleanliness! I was shocked! Perfectly clean!

Location (3/5): It is located a bit further from the main attractions in the area, so you'll need a car to get around. This could be a downside for some, but it's also quieter and away from the crowds. If you're looking for a more secluded experience, it might be a plus. Value for Money (3/5): The pricing at this resort is reasonable, but you get what you pay for. It's not a luxury resort, so if you're looking for a budget-friendly option, it's a decent choice. In summary, this is a middle-of-the-road resort. It's not going to blow you away, but it's clean, the service is good, and it offers an affordable place to stay. If you're not too concerned with luxury and just need a place to sleep while exploring the area, it's worth considering.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely come back again. The hotel has a large territory with a nice swimming pool, sun loungers, and a bar where you can relax during the day. There is plenty of parking, including a second parking area with access from the street behind the hotel. A laundry is located right next to the hotel, and across the road there's a Super Cheap supermarket where you can buy groceries, drinks, alcohol, and other essentials at lower prices than in most other supermarkets. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast (I've attached a speed test screenshot). The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Housekeeping came every day, replacing towels, bed linen, and complimentary bottled water. The hotel also has a small gym on the second floor with a bench press, dumbbells up to 20 kg, and a treadmill. The only downside is that the gym has low ceilings, so exercises like overhead presses or handstands aren't really possible. Overall, I had a great experience here. Everything was well maintained, the service was excellent, and I definitely recommend this hotel. I plan to stay here again on my next visit.

Pleasant Stay with Excellent Service in Chaweng I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome. The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng. The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.

This hotel was an okay place to stay, the bed was comfy and the location is alright. The shower pressure isn't the best and there aren't any curtains. But for the price in koh samui it is good. Picture is from central samui mall.

Good morning! I'm staying at this hotel from February 2nd to February 8th. The location is simply superb! 👌 Breakfasts are standard, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby if you need coffee or sandwiches. However, the hotel itself is completely rundown!!! The bedding and towels are in terrible condition! If you appreciate comfort, then this is definitely not the place for you. All the plumbing is broken, and the water in the shower doesn't drain!
