Here's what happened: Before the National Day holiday, we booked two rooms at this hotel. Since we were traveling with children, we specifically called the hotel after booking to confirm that both rooms were on the non-smoking 14th floor, and we wanted them to be as close together as possible. The hotel staff who answered the phone readily agreed and were incredibly enthusiastic (that's typical of scammers). On the day of check-in, we arrived at the hotel around 9:40 PM. Exhausted from our journey, we wanted to check in and rest quickly. But then the problem arose. The front desk looked around for a while and said they couldn't accommodate us on the same floor—they were full—and one room would have to be on the 11th floor. We immediately refused this arrangement, emphasizing that we had already confirmed it was fine, so why were they saying it was impossible when we arrived? So we strongly demanded that the hotel arrange rooms according to our agreement. Then, something bizarre happened; the front desk contacted their general manager, who actually told us, "You should check out." It was already past 10 pm, and they were trying to kick us out! In all my 30+ years of hotel stays, I've never heard of, and I can't believe, this is how a hotel treats its guests. Then, when we disagreed, they said they would arrange for us to go to another hotel. This series of bizarre actions left us speechless and utterly helpless. Because we had a child with us, we had no choice but to make do. And that wasn't all. Around midnight that night, people started shouting and making a scene in the hallway on our floor. Around 1 am, there was more arguing and shouting in the hallway. The hotel rooms have terrible soundproofing, keeping us awake all night. The next day, we confronted the front desk, and they just brushed it off with a "sorry"... What can we say about such service attitude and such staff?! We had no choice but to seek help from the market supervision department. They advertised it as "so close and beautiful, a weekend trip to Hebei," but our stay in Cangzhou, Hebei, was a nightmare. I strongly advise everyone not to stay at this hotel. You'll only truly experience its reality during the National Day holiday. Here are a few more points to note: 1. This hotel is extremely remote, located opposite Cangzhou West Railway Station. There are virtually no amenities within walking distance. If you're not driving or taking the train, don't stay here. 2. Even with the windows closed, you can hear high-speed trains passing by in the hotel rooms, especially noticeable at night. Those who need a good night's sleep should be cautious. 3. The soundproofing in the hotel rooms is extremely poor. Any sound in the hallway will disrupt your sleep or wake you up! My personal understanding is that the management's attitude determines the hotel's direction. If a hotel's general manager treats guests like this, you can imagine how bad the service can be. I again urge everyone to avoid this hotel."
