"The room was spacious, and the bathroom had good drainage with excellent water pressure. The front desk staff were very friendly and the sales department proactively contacted us to confirm our check-in time. They even prepared slippers and toys for our child in advance, which was a thoughtful touch. Since we were traveling by car, they went above and beyond by helping us clean the rearview mirrors and front windshield, which was totally unexpected! The location is great, very convenient for getting around, and the large park right across the street is perfect for kids."

"This is a five-star hotel in Cangzhou, and the breakfast spread is indeed quite impressive. They had local lamb intestine soup, Shandong snacks at live cooking stations, and a whole row of Cantonese dim sum. The food was excellent. From my room window, I could see the old Cangzhou Dahua factory, which has now been repurposed into a museum for intangible cultural heritage."

"Good location. No sugar in the rooms, when asked about it was told that there’s no sugar in the whole hotel. It was raining heavily but the hotel doesn’t borrow umbrellas unless you pay additional deposit of 50 CNY even though there’s a 200 CNY deposit paid when checking in."

"The hotel is new, so the environment is great and the rooms are spacious. I booked the Lavande Deluxe King Room, which was over 140 RMB more expensive than a standard king. I have two complaints: First, for that much extra, I asked the front desk what made it special. They said it included a 70 RMB gift box and a mini-fridge in the room. When I got to the room, the mini-fridge was empty, which was ridiculous. I suggest they at least put a couple of drinks in there. Second, as a new hotel, they're using old-fashioned toilets, which is a big letdown. I thought all new Lavande hotels, like the older ones, were equipped with these old-style toilets. But then today I stayed at a newly opened Lavande in Zhangjiakou, and they had smart toilets. I'm completely baffled."

"When I checked in in the afternoon, the internet and TV were working fine. However, when I returned around 11 PM, the internet and TV stopped working. The front desk service was okay; they had housekeeping adjust the TV. They worked on it for a while, and it worked, but the signal dropped again as soon as they left. I didn't call them back. The staff member who came to adjust the TV said it was normal for buffering during peak TV viewing times, and they couldn't fix it if they couldn't get it working. I found this strange. Isn't 11 PM a peak time for TV viewing? And isn't the TV not working a hotel problem? Why is it still not working? They should at least offer a solution. I hope they can improve the internet and provide training for the evening staff. They can't just be helpless if they can't fix it. And this "no solution" attitude is quite infuriating. (I have no intention of asking the hotel for a refund or compensation; this is just my personal opinion.)"
