"Pleasantly surprised by the Easyhotel Cardiff. Rooms are small but comfortable. The best part about this place is the staff who are extremely friendly. The rooms don't include a kettle which is the only thing that is lacking to be honest. For the price point however, the room is excellent and I will definitely return given its city centre location."

"We had a comfortable stay here. It is quiet whilst being in the city centre and that was perfect. There was a issue with the water but the staff were accommodating and acted quickly to resolve it."

"Very disappointing family stay – cleanliness and service need improvement We stayed here as a family for six nights as part of our holiday, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. I have stayed in many Travelodge hotels before and have always been happy with my experience, which is why this stay was particularly disappointing. I have always liked staying at Travelodge and would normally choose it with confidence, but this hotel did not meet the standard I have experienced elsewhere. On arrival, we had to wait because our room was not ready. When we finally got into the room, it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned. There was a significant amount of dust, spider webs around the clothing hangers, dust around the bathroom ventilation and toilet roll holder, and the shower was visibly dirty. I had to clean the room and bathroom myself before we could comfortably use them. I have taken photographs and will attach them to the review. There was also only one towel provided for three guests, so I had to go to reception myself to ask for additional towels. The weather was very hot during our stay, but there was no air conditioning. The small fan/cooler provided was completely inadequate, and the tiny window offered very little ventilation, making the room uncomfortable. The coffee and juice machines were out of order for the entire six days. We had breakfast included in our booking, including coffee, but when I asked for an alternative, I was told that Lavazza coffee was available but I would have to pay extra for it. I found this unacceptable, as coffee was already included in the breakfast we had paid for. I reported the cleanliness issues to reception, but unfortunately nothing was done apart from an apology. I was left to clean the room myself. Overall, this particular Travelodge needs to seriously improve its cleanliness, maintenance and customer service. Staff should be more welcoming, attentive and responsive when guests raise genuine concerns. I have stayed at many Travelodge hotels and never experienced anything like this before. That is why this stay was especially disappointing — I genuinely like staying at Travelodge, but unfortunately this experience has left me very disappointed."

"We stayed for four nights. The hotel was booked through Trip.com, and we were given a corner room with a small window. The view outside was poor, as you can see in the picture, which really dampened our mood. The hotel breakfast has both a buffet and an à la carte section. On our first morning, our à la carte order never arrived. We waited a full forty minutes, and they admitted they'd forgotten it. We had to leave without eating as we were out of time. On the second morning, they asked if they should prepare the same order as the day before, and I agreed. However, they got it wrong; one person's food was correct, but the other's was completely wrong. So, two out of our four breakfasts were quite disappointing. The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk service is much better than the restaurant service."
