"Amazing overnight stay in the Parisian Suite, the decor was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable!! I wanted to purchase the same quilt and pillows. Great smart lighting and the TVs disguised as artwork was brilliant, bath had a tv also. Located right in the centre of town Kirby Lonsdale was very picturesque. Will be back again, and would highly recommend staying for the weekend."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this cute little resort—perfect for a short break. Although we were hoping for a lodge, the apartment we stayed in was a good size, clean, and comfortable. One small downside was the lack of an oven—it would have been helpful to have a combi microwave for a few more cooking options. The resort itself has a lot of potential. It would be great to see more free entertainment and games available to keep both adults and children busy throughout the day. Larger leisure facilities would also help, especially during peak times when things can feel a bit limited. The setting is lovely, and adding more picnic areas around the lake would really enhance the outdoor experience. Also, some more indoor entertainment or activities for colder or rainy days would make the resort a great option year-round. All in all, a pleasant stay with a few areas that could be improved to make it even better."

"A wonderful property in every respect. Huge rooms, each individually themed, fitted outwith every modern luxury you could wish for. The property is also handily located in the middle of the town with ample parking nearby. Communication was also excellent and we really appreciated our early check-in being accommodated. "We often go in for drinks and really like the bar but on this occasion we decided to eat with the family. Ordered a chicken burger got a beef burger. After a 40 minute wait (the bar wasn't busy) our meals arrived but were very dried up the buns stale, the cheese & bacon hard. The tomato & basil soup was like tomato puree. The staff were apologetic and knocked £9 off the bill & gave the kids free desserts but the bill was still £59 for a very bad meal."

I didn’t use the tv & nearby chair but they were available. The breakfast was good & I had a very tasty home-made steak pie & veg one evening. Plenty of pubs and curry restaurants nearby."

"Staying in KL for short break and called in for a drink. Staff very welcoming. Nice atmosphere. Food looked good though we'd already eaten. Nice selection of drinks. Decent range of well kept cask ales. Absolutely great value. A G&T with tonic was £3.90. My pint of Timothy Taylor was £.2.75 with a special deal on Tuesdays. Wish we'd found it sooner instead of at the end of our stay! They have rooms and would certainly stay here on our next visit."
