We are less then a mile from hiking trails at Weiser State Park, and a short drive to many other great trails. We are also an easy 20 minute drive to Downtown Jim Thorpe and a 15 minute drive to Lake Harmony! The host will send a code at check-in at or before 4pm when possible!The lake & beach is open starting Memorial Day weekend on weekends only (Saturday & Sunday) until Father's Day weekend then it will be open every day until the end of Labor Day weekend!Local community regulations have imposed a firepit ban. The firepit will be unavailable for all guests going forward to stay in compliance.For the summer season (starting Memorial Day weekend), the local community will only issue 8 passes per reservation. Additional guests may purchase amenity access at the local clubhouse for $10 per day, per guest. (2 additional maximum). Each pass is needed per guest to access the local facilities such as the pool, beach/lake, clubhouse, and sporting courts. Community rules do not allow any lost passes to be replaced. Children under the age of 5 do not count towards the maximum pass limit.There is a garbage disposal site located approximately 6-7 minutes drive from the property. We ask all guests to dispose trash upon checkout. There is a small guest rental form to be filled out to issue passes + garbage pass per vehicle.We do ask all guests to be 25+ in age to book with us. Our Redwoods Chalet home is located in a beautiful, peaceful community that is home to many forest animals and close to many major Poconos attractions. This private community is filled with amenities such as tennis courts, basketball courts, Volleyball courts, an outdoor pool and kiddie pool, a playground, a restaurant, and a Beach area for swimming.Our newly renovated Chalet has a circular driveway that can fit up to 5 cars and is well-suited for couples, a few friends, or a family to relax. As parents, we understand traveling with a baby/kids can feel a little daunting, so we have made our home baby and kid-friendly. We offer a high chair, a pack-and-play for the little ones, and a variety of toys, board games, children's books, and puzzles for ages 3 & up. This home has an open floor plan with a vaulted ceiling, electric baseboard heaters in every room, ceiling fans, High-Speed Internet/Wi-Fi, and a 50-inch smart tv. On the main floor, it has 2-bedrooms with queen-size mattresses, a tub bathroom, an open floor plan living room, a dining room with AC unit, and a fully stocked kitchen. Upstairs you have a private master bedroom with a king-size mattress, a master bath with shower, an AC unit and a loft area.
