Hôtel Mercure Cherbourg Centre Port ★★★★

📍 13 Quai de l'Entrepôt, Cherbourg-Octeville

"The hotel is located in front of the old harbour. Agreable and confortable rooms. A private carpark with contolled access is available free of charge. Quite environment. The city center is accessible on foot where you can find quality restaurants ; you simply have to cross the port on the footbridge in front of the hotel. Good value for money."

Auberge de Jeunesse HI Cherbourg ★★

📍 55 Rue de l'Abbaye, Cherbourg-Octeville

"Good location. It should be noted that there isn't enough furniture in the dormitory, especially for the person who has to sleep in the bunk bed; there isn't even a place to put your belongings—not practical at all! After the shower leaked, the receptionist was kind enough to move me to another room, which saved my sleep."

Ibis Cherbourg la Glacerie ★★★

📍 2 Rue du Château d'Eau, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, La Glacerie

"IBIS hotel meets the brand's expectations. On the other hand, still the presence of this half plastic mattress pad which sticks and makes you sweat! To avoid. Apart from that the location and the welcome are nice to explore the region"

Hotel le Cercle
8.7 (59 reviews)

Hotel le Cercle ★★★

📍 13 Place de la République, Cherbourg

"The BEST HOTEL for years! A really superb hotel; I am mildly disabled and to me it was perfect for Bed & Breakfast. The staff were cheery, extremely considerate and helpful, 5*, everything to make it easy for me. A wonderful bedroom, lovely mattress, fantastic shower, easy to use, with seat and a huge space. The buffet breakfast was the best I've experienced in Europe ! A very large choice of foods and drinks, the poached-eggs were the very best I've experienced -- I felt compelled to ask the secret and generously was told! Yum Yum! Car parking opposite was expensive but large free parking over the road by statue of Napoleon. Town/cafes/shops 5 minutes walk. A truly wonderful hotel, I'll be very pleased to return."

Auberge de Jeunesse HI Cherbourg ★★
"Excellent value for money at this hostel in Cherbourg. We spent a night there with friends and found the rooms spacious and very clean; the shower isn't the most convenient, but that's part of the hostel's charm. Breakfast is very good, served in a bright room, and the staff are welcoming and helpful."

"We have used this hotel many times en route to Portsmouth but this time we stayed for a 5 day “holiday”. Very comfortable and well appointed room with exceptionally helpful staff. Just by the enormous marina, so plenty of scope for short evening strolls and close to the town and tourist sites in the day. We will come again."

Hôtel le Tiburon ★★★
"I stayed at Hotel Le tiburon by myself for two nights in early April. I was a little nervous travelling solo plus I don't speak french and I decided not to rent a car. With that said I was taken in as if I were family. The staff was so kind and literally offered to drive and pick me up anywhere if I couldn't locate a taxi. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully designed. The shower was the best part at the end of a long day. The water was hot and the pressure was great! And the bed was so comfortable too. My two nights staying there were the best nights sleep I have had in a LONG time. It helped that it was super quiet. An added bonus was the lovely breakfast that I helped myself to in the morning. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The homemade yogurt was sublime. I would most definitely stay again! Such a charming place."

Ibis Cherbourg la Glacerie ★★★
"Located just five km from Cherbourg, this hotel was satisfactory. Friendly staff. Spacious, pleasant, well-equipped room, comfortable bedding. Shops nearby, particularly catering. Well-stocked breakfast buffet, many sweet or savory choices. The restaurant is also on point for the food; However, it would benefit from another arrangement, it looks a bit like a company canteen."

Hotel le Cercle ★★★
"2-night stay, the hotel is very well located 2 minutes from the center and the port, beautiful entrance, large room with a beautiful bathroom, separate toilet, very comfortable bedding and pillows (this is rare), everything is super clean, coffee machine and herbal tea and to start and finish a very kind welcome. Excellent stay. To try and adopt without reservation."
