We spent a night there with friends and found the rooms spacious and very clean; the shower isn't the most convenient, but that's part of the hostel's charm. Breakfast is very good, served in a bright room, and the staff are welcoming and helpful."

"We have used this hotel many times en route to Portsmouth but this time we stayed for a 5 day “holiday”. Very comfortable and well appointed room with exceptionally helpful staff. Just by the enormous marina, so plenty of scope for short evening strolls and close to the town and tourist sites in the day. We will come again."

"The hotel was located next to the harbour, the room was very clean and had fridge, tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a variety of cheese, meats, bread, fruit, and cereals. A short walk from the hotel is a large selection of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. This hotel offers excellent value for money along with an excellent location to explore Cherbourg."

"We spent one night in this hotel before taking the ferry back to Ireland. The hotel has reserved parking and is ideally located being very close to the ferry terminal while at the same time within easy walking distance of the town centre (with excellent shopping). in addition, just accross the square from the hotel there was a Carrefour Hypermarket so we were able to top up our supplies of beer, wine and other necessities. We were welcomed to the hotel by very friendly and helpful staff at reception who indicated where we could get a small meal close by as it was just outside the normal period for lunch. We stayed in a Junior Suite on the sixth floor which had an excellent view of the inner port area, where a nice Swedish sailing ship was berthed, as well as a view over the city centre. The room was comfortable with plenty of power points, comfortable bed and good shower. As we were tired, we decided to dine in the hotel restaurant that evening where we had a nice relaxing meal. All in all this was a most enjoyable experience."
