Best Dresden Hotels

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff in excellent location. Good to reach and at the same time beautifully quiet. All the pools are accessible by foot. We will come back in any case.

Sehr schönes Hotel, direkt an der Elbe und kurzem Fußweg zur Altstadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und haben eine riesige Fensterfront mit Blick auf die Elbe. Leider ist keine Klimaanlage vorhanden und im Sommer wird es im Zimmer sehr warm. Ein Standlüfter verschafft aber etwas Erleichterung. Das Frühstück wird in einem großen Pavillon serviert und ist sehr reichhaltig und es alles vorhanden, einschließlich Eierspeisen.

The better aspect is that the hotel agreed to check in early and store luggage until 16:00 after check out. The disadvantage is that there is dust on the floor, obviously there is no cleaning before check-in, and no shampoo and bath products are provided.

The room is very spacious, bright, comfortable and clean. I didn't expect there is a microwave, kettle, plates and cutlery. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes walk to almost all attractions. Buffet breakfast, you can order 3 kinds. I recommend the chicken omelette. It's a little far from the train station, three tram stops.

The only positive thing about this hotel were the room, big and spacious, and the location, super central. Although the moquette is unhygienic. I always appreciate a luggage rack but one in a room for 2 people is ridiculous. We also got unlucky with the bathroom as the shower curtain was mounted wrong so taking a shower meant creating a lake in the bathroom. The hotel is not very well organised, we had to wait a lot to check-in and when it was finally our turn, even though the room was ready, we would have had to pay to check in earlier for mere 50 minutes. Embarrassing. We left the luggages and came back later and had to queue again with all the guests that had just arrived, for more than half an hour. We only needed the key cards, we already did all the paperwork. They preauthorised 50€ per night on our cards, in case we wanted to use the room service or the restaurant, which we explained we didn’t. And if you looked at the room service menu, you wouldn’t want to as well.. I would expect a famous chain like the Hilton to know that “Taglietelle Carbonara” doesn’t exist, it’s “Spaghetti carbonara” or “Rigatoni alla carbonara”. Furthermore “Spaghetti bolognese” doesn’t exist as well, it’s “tagliatelle bolognese”. There’s a pool but it’s unclear if it’s available to every guest. The staff is not keen on divulging information. It would be nice if more of the staff would be able to speak English (and maybe a third language) as a lot of the guests are tourists from other countries.

Impressive building, excellent interior. Very central, near the river. City in walking distance and a street side parking at low city tarif nearby.

We were there from 08/19/2010 to 08/21/2020 and this great hotel was a pleasant surprise. This is a good location, right next to the doghouse, very friendly staff and convenient parking spaces. The furniture and first-class design of the room also convinced us so much that we visited other sights in the beautiful city of Dresden for three consecutive nights on August 24, 2020. We even like to come back from Lüneburg.

Super location, directly at the women's church we had received an upgrade although we had only paid a last minute price Rooms super , large and luxurious Bikes were stuck in the baggage room and were allowed to stay there even after check-out until afternoon SPA area is OK, but access to the roof terrace is not possible, but visitors of the roof terrace room see and also enter the SPA area and enter we have paid the price we have only paid a absolute highlight in Dresden

It is hard to imagine a much better location for a hotel. If you like historic old towns, this is the place for you, because it is right in the middle of them, right in the center. As far as the cleanliness and furnishings of our room were concerned, there was nothing to complain about, quite the opposite. Everything you need is there. The breakfast we booked with it is outsourced to the Italian restaurant next door, but that doesn't detract from the whole thing, as you have direct access to it from the hotel. The breakfast itself is very plentiful and there is definitely something for everyone. We booked the hotel for an overnight stay after a concert that went on until 10:30 p.m. At this time, it is almost impossible to get a free seat in the many restaurants around the old market, as everything is taken. I would have liked to have been able to have a nightcap in the hotel, but unfortunately that is not possible. But if that is not necessarily the case, I can only recommend this hotel. Another thing that is a bit of a challenge if you arrive with your own vehicle is finding a parking space. But even there, you will be helped at the reception desk, and there will be recommendations for parking garages nearby, where free capacity will also be checked in advance.

Great small hotel with very friendly and engaged staff. Super breakfast and modern hotel facilities. The restaurant offers an excellent dinner with a good food card on the evening from 17:00 - 21:00. To the city centre walk twenty minutes. Bus stop right in front of the hotel building.
