"The hotel is very close to Brown and can be reached on foot. The surrounding environment is safe and clean. It is very comfortable to take a walk. There are many supermarkets and restaurants next to it. Starbucks is on the second floor! The hotel has free coffee in the lobby in the morning, which tastes good!"
"The location is great, close to Macy's, the State Capitol, Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University, and not far from the train station. I could just walk there to attend my child's graduation ceremony."
"This is Hilton's hotel in downtown Providence, close to Providence and the West Bank. The Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University campuses are on the east bank of the river, which is very convenient. There is a park on the west side of the hotel, and the City Hall is at the other end of the park. Macy's is one intersection away. There is a Starbucks not far downstairs, and the state legislature is also located there. It is very convenient. The surrounding area is mature. The hotel has a high-end space design, with a small kitchen, a large space, a lobby on the second floor, and breakfast on the second floor, which is very comfortable. The service process is simple and fast."
"The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design and Museum, Providence City Center, train station and more. We booked a view room that is really a veritable ”room with a view”. Every day, we can watch the morning light, the sunset, the birds fly, and the cargo ship enters and exits the port... The hotel faces India Point Park and you can take a fitness walk. The items provided in the room are very useful, the American breakfast is solid, there are restaurants and bars in the hotel, but we may not be open because there are not many guests during our stay, the restaurant is open or not."
"Arriving at the hotel in advance due to the ticket, it is not allowed to check in early. We will store the luggage in the hotel and go shopping in the supermarket. The location of the hotel is good! I bought a good thing and went back to the hotel to check in, but I still waited for 40 minutes. After the hotel customer service, I gave away the breakfast as a gift! The hotel room is very small, the so-called big bed room results in a very small bed, the bathroom is bigger, the quality of the facilities is good, very close to Brown University!"
"Stayed at this hotel with children for 2 weeks, the room was very large and new, there was no decoration, the kitchen was fully equipped, the sound insulation was good, the breakfast was affordable, the next day was cleaned, the gym laundry room was complete, it was a pet-friendly hotel, and I saw many tourists with dogs. It is not far from the shopping center and the station next to it, and it is within walking distance. Will book here again next time."
"I stayed in this hotel with my children for 2 weeks. The room was large and new, without any decoration smell. The kitchen facilities were complete, the sound insulation was good, the breakfast was affordable, the hotel was cleaned every other day, the gym and laundry room were complete, and it was a pet-friendly hotel. I saw many tourists with dogs. The shopping mall and the station next to it were not far away and could be reached on foot. I will book here again next time."
"A very well appointed hotel conveniently located in the historic downtown adjacent to RISD and an easy, if uphill walk, to Brown, with a number of decent restaurants nearby. The furnishings, bathroom, and linens were all of high quality. Despite other reviews I found the staff to be rather limited in their engagement versus the friendliness praised elsewhere, but nothing off-putting. The restaurant Bellini tries to punch a bit above its weight though for Providence it’s decent. Overall by far the best hotel in Providence but still a stretch from true five star luxury or a genuine upscale business hotel like Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental."
"The room faces south. The hotel is in a good location with good sunshine. I stayed for a long time this time and they agreed to waive all parking fees (not cheap). I had to leave the hotel two days in advance because of something. According to the rules, there is no refund. Ctrip customer service helped me communicate and agreed. Room cleaning service is not provided every day unless you ask the front desk. There is no kettle, which is inconvenient for Asians or Chinese. I try to adapt to the local customs, and the store should also be thoughtful and meticulous. Western hotel facilities and services cannot be compared with those in China, but Marriott's brand is still okay."
"This “boutique” hotel was NOT inexpensive. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the building itself lacked everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was so dark it was impossible to read.
There was no room for two people to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was no closet or dresser, so if one is staying for more than one night it would be difficult to store clothing. There were exactly two hooks on the wall and four hangers!
Worst of all….. the mattress was so uncomfortably soft that my husband slept sitting up on a hard chair.
Perhaps some would find this hotel charming, ……not us."
