Ambiance: If you're staying in a waterside room, Shuanglang is the place to be. You're literally living in the scenery; what you see is what you get. Amenities: Dyson hairdryer, bathtub with a cover and milk bubble bath. The floor-to-ceiling windows really highlight the view. The bedding is also excellent, very comfortable to sleep in. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. Service: Although there's no elevator, our butler, Liu Jin, was incredibly strong and helpful. He carried our luggage to and from the parking lot during both check-in and check-out. Very thoughtful. Travel Photography Experience: The travel photography here is amazing, mainly because the scenery is so beautiful – perfect for photos. Guests get a few complimentary shots, but the photos are so good that it's hard not to pay for more. Goodnight Dessert: We stayed for two days, and the sweet soups were different each night and both delicious. Souvenirs: Rose brown sugar, a favorite with the kids. Breakfast: The rice noodles for breakfast are delicious, highly recommend them.

The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, directly facing Erhai Lake! Not only did they offer a delicious afternoon tea ☕️, but also a goodnight milk 🥛. How thoughtful! The breakfast was good too, and quite substantial. The environment is truly excellent. Absolutely great value for money!!

The hotel matched the pictures perfectly – it's very new and well-equipped. I have to praise the breakfast; it was delicious! They had rice noodles, congee, corn, sweet potatoes, eggs... My picky mother said it was the only meal she was satisfied with during our whole trip to Yunnan (it definitely suits a Sichuan-Chongqing palate!). It's also super close to Shuanglang Ancient Town, just a few minutes' walk away. The courtyard is beautiful too, and on a clear day, you can catch the sunset over Erhai Lake. The room itself was clean and pretty, but I made a mess of it so I didn't take any photos. The staff were also very easy to communicate with and had excellent service attitudes.

This beachfront guesthouse is a hidden gem, you won't regret staying here! The location is fantastic, right on the waterfront with stunning sea views. You don't have to go far to reach Erhai Lake, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, making dining and drinks super convenient. The butler service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive, providing genuine care throughout your stay. The cleanliness is exceptional; the entire house is spotless, the bedding is clean and soft, and the bathtub and vanity are meticulously cleaned and disinfected repeatedly. All the facilities are new and well-equipped. You can enjoy an immersive sea view from the scenic bathtub, and the public library corner offers a quiet and atmospheric space. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with excellent drainage, no standing water, and all the soft furnishings and appliances are new models and well-maintained. The balcony offers a wide, open view – it's incredibly therapeutic to feel the breeze and watch the sea. Everything is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, making it our top choice for a getaway.

Seriously, if you're coming to Erhai Lake, I highly recommend finding a lakeside hotel like this one. The whole vacation vibe just hits you the moment you step in! The hotel offers a fantastic view of Erhai Lake, and the rooms each have a private balcony – perfect for watching the sunset with a great ambiance in the evening. The room is well-equipped with amenities, snacks, and drinks 🍻. The environment is superb, and all the facilities are brand new. The bathroom even has a wet/dry separation, and the toilet is a smart bidet. They provide complimentary coffee and tea, and essentials like a kettle, hairdryer, and mosquito repellent lamp are all there – very thoughtful! There's a small balcony with chairs. The weather wasn't great when I visited, but the view was still stunning. The blue hour at dusk created such a wonderful ambiance. Sitting there, feeling the breeze and watching the sea, with a continuous range of mountains across the water, hazy and dark against the clouds. Two car horns echoed in the distance, and turning my head, I could see warm yellow lights. It was a moment of peaceful contemplation, a feeling difficult to put into words. The service was also very attentive; the staff were all lovely and enthusiastic 🥰. It's integrated with a bubble tea shop and a restaurant, so food and drinks are super convenient. Picture 3 shows the complimentary breakfast, which was incredibly rich and delicious... Plus, compared to other sea-view rooms, it's not overly expensive, offering great value for money 😋. Fully recommended!

Jingyun B&B was a wonderful surprise! The huge floor-to-ceiling window in the room was exactly like the photos online, even more beautiful and real. You can lie in bed and see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake! The online photos are accurate, but reality is even better! It offers great value for money, far exceeding my expectations. The location is also excellent. It's very convenient to get to Shuanglang Ancient Town by electric car, regular car, Didi (ride-hailing), or bicycle. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and ordering takeout is also easy. The owner is very warm and hospitable, feeling just like an old friend. There's plenty of space to relax: a parking lot, a garden, an orchard, and a tea area. It's spacious and comfortable to stay in, and my family really enjoyed it, so I highly recommend it!

Extremely satisfied! The hotel facilities are very thoughtfully designed, and the environment is clean and tidy. We booked room 302, which has two balconies facing Erhai Lake. Shuanglang Ancient Town is just a 10-minute walk away. Even though it's near a scenic area, it becomes very quiet after 8 PM. The owner also provides a projector, and there's an infinity view on the top floor perfect for photos. My kids loved this hotel, and we'll definitely be back!

Overall, the room was decent, but there's definitely room for improvement in some areas, to be objective: 1. The owner runs multiple establishments, so the front desk was almost always unattended. If I needed anything, I had to call. Yesterday, I made about 5-6 calls. 2. The room door couldn't be deadbolted. When I asked the owner, he mentioned something about the latest electronic lock needing an upgrade, which completely confused me. The room had a washing machine, which was great, but then the power cut out halfway through my wash. I had to call the owner again to ask why. He said something about operating it from his computer, which made me wonder if there's a time limit for using the washing machine. 3. The staff needs more training. Breakfast was supposed to be from 8 AM to 9:30 AM, which the owner did mention beforehand, and we might have forgotten. But when I went down at 9:40 AM, there was nothing left to eat, even though it was only 10 minutes late. Later, when I checked Ctrip while writing this review, it said breakfast was from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. It's hard to comment on that; maybe the staff is just very strict. I had planned to eat and then catch a bus to Lijiang, but I ended up having to go out, eat, and then come back. I hope they can extend the breakfast hours in the future to give travelers a better experience. I rarely leave reviews, but that's pretty much it. Oh, and one more thing: the view from the room we booked was nice. We also coincidentally ended up at another one of the owner's establishments for barbecue, and the food was good. The landlady even gave us some free drinks. That's all.
