"It was our best decision to stay in this hotel one of the best of our two weeks trip around Sri Lanka. The nature around the swimming pool view is insane. Nice houses and the most surprising perfect dinner buffet just for 15$. Breakfast was good as well. Spa is good too but they not inform the oil is quite aggressive paint so it made my white skirt and shirt yellow (still can’t wash)"

"This mountain hotel was the priciest of our entire trip, with a single room costing almost 5,000. It's nestled in the mountains, so getting there was a bit of a trek. I was hoping to spot some monkeys, but we didn't see any this time. The hotel's service and dining, however, were absolutely impeccable, truly top-notch. The ingredients and presentation were meticulously handled. The overall design also showcases a strong concept, built into the mountainside, creating a unique mountain resort atmosphere. That said, the room facilities were noticeably dated, with a distinct 80s or 90s feel. While some might appreciate this retro vibe, I personally prefer a more updated and modern hotel experience. Overall, it definitely has a strong design aesthetic and a unique ambiance. However, in terms of overall comfort and experience, it falls a bit short compared to the Lighthouse Hotel by the same designer. Especially considering the challenging journey up the mountain and the price, the final experience didn't quite meet my initial expectations."

"The month in this hotel has become a real fairy tale for us! We felt like home thanks to an incredibly friendly and kind family who cared for us from the first minutes. And they were ready to help literally everything! When we mentioned that we would like to cook ourselves and look for a accommodation with the kitchen, they just ... built us a kitchen! It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated with a stunningly delicious food in generous quantities. Breakfasts here a special topic: always a lot of food, fresh food and everything is crazy delicious. Also you can take their bicycles to explore amazing Sigiria. It was amazing! Race the picturesque paths among wildlife just a dream! Even on the territory of the hotel there is a connection to nature: diverse birds sing their melodies, proteins flies agitatedly on palm trees, and varans are not in a hurry walking through the bushes real harmony with nature. We left with a hard heart, because this place has become a home for us for a month. We recommend to anyone looking for spiritual hospitality, comfort and connectivity with nature. "The property is beautiful and well-maintained, boasting a fantastic location with stunning views of Sigiriya Rock directly from the pool. For anyone planning an early morning ascent of Sigiriya Rock, I highly recommend choosing this hotel. The walk back from Sigiriya Rock to the hotel was only about 15 minutes, which was incredibly convenient. We also made use of the on-site Ayurvedic spa; it was wonderfully relaxing and very reasonably priced. All the staff members were exceptionally kind and friendly, ensuring we had a truly comfortable and pleasant stay."

"The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it feels like a manor inside. The guest room is similar to a single-story villa with a large bed and a small bed, and can accommodate three adults. The room hygiene is good, but the floor drain next to the toilet tends to accumulate water. "We stayed at the Eden Grand Hotel for two days and absolutely loved it. Although it can be a little tricky to find, the hotel is beautifully located at the edge of the forest, where monkeys leap from tree to tree.
