"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sigiriya Kingdom Resort. I made a confirmed booking at an agreed rate, but later—especially in the middle of the night—the hotel attempted to change the price. This is unacceptable and feels highly unprofessional. A confirmed booking should be honored, not altered under pressure. What made the situation worse was the lack of proper customer support. When I raised the issue, no clear explanation or reasonable solution was provided. Instead, my time was wasted with poor communication and no accountability from the staff. This kind of behavior damages trust and creates a very negative experience for guests. Transparency and honesty are basic expectations in hospitality, and unfortunately, this hotel failed in both. I strongly urge future guests to double-check all booking details and be cautious. I also hope the management takes this seriously and improves their customer service and ethical standards. And I'm traveling from almost 400 km away from their destination. Thats how they treated me. Disappointed and unacceptable"

"I have to say, this hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Sri Lanka. It's only been open for 3 years, so everything is new. The hotel is in the form of a tree house, which is very unique, but there is no need to worry about safety issues. There are CCTVs everywhere in the hotel, and the hotel will ensure your safety. The hotel is very private, with only ten rooms in total, so it doesn't feel crowded or noisy at all, which is very suitable for vacation. The swimming pool is also very clean and the night view is beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to any friend who is going to Sri Lanka. Although it is not the most expensive hotel in my trip, it is the best and most impressive hotel. It’s really a treasure hotel~ I hope its business will get better and better^btw The breakfast is a set menu, which is delicious and rich~"

"Really nice experience, the place is like a sweet dream. Rooms are confortable, as big as needed and realy clean. You will literally walking up in a small cosy jungle. Not too far from cities, walks and interesting places. Around 1h walking to the first city but every shops and sellers on the way make feels shorter. Bus and tuktuk are easy to acces and cheap. Now, the greatest point, the service. It's feel like a custom made. Each team membres doing his best to carrying. They just don't know how make you feel unique, you are unique. Cocktails and drinks are cheap and taste really good. They propose a good choise of drinks and foods, good taste and not too much. Thanks again to Gamini, Same and all team membres of carrying us and our daughter."

"I stayed at Paradise Dambulla for one full week, and honestly, I can say this property’s biggest strength is its people. I have travelled quite a bit, but the warmth, kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care shown by the staff here is something very special. It never felt artificial or forced. Every single day, the team made the experience comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. Special thanks to Nikesha, Waruna, and Feros from the Front Office Department, Tharusha from Housekeeping, and the amazing F&B team including Damith, Lahiru, Thanuja and Dhanushka. Each of them created such a positive impression during my stay. A very special mention must go to Ranga, the F&B Manager. He is truly an asset to the hotel. Had a lovely small talk. An all rounder, highly professional, always attentive, and at the same time a genuinely kind gentleman who seems to support every department whenever needed. You can clearly see the teamwork among the staff, and I believe that is one of the main success stories behind this hotel. The rooms were excellent, the atmosphere peaceful, and the location itself is beautiful and relaxing. During the entire week, I genuinely could not point out a single bad experience. Paradise Dambulla should be proud of its people because they are the real highlight of this property and the reason guests will return again and again. Most definitely visiting again soon. "The first picture shows the bathroom when we entered the hotel room. I had to ask the staff to refill our shampoo and shower gel multiple times. The following pictures show the restaurant. We stayed for four nights and five days, and the breakfast was exactly the same every day. My child felt nauseous on the last day. The water in the kettle for making coffee at the breakfast buffet was cold, and the staff told me to scoop coffee grounds from an almost empty container and make my own. I have to conclude that none of the dozen or so hotel staff members possessed basic service etiquette. We had to repeatedly ask the front desk to clean our room or change our towels, making our stay extremely uncomfortable. I give this hotel a very negative review!"

"We spent here 2 nights during our group tour. Place is wonderful and set in a picturesque gardens overlooking rice fields. You could hear noises of peacocks in the morning. The swimming pool is deep enough to have a good swim and there are plenty of sun lounges for everyone to enjoy. The room was very spacious and clean. Staff is lovely and helpful. We had a dinner here one night. Menu was limited. Curry originally only available at lunchtime but we asked to cook it in the evening. It was very tasty and cooked fresh for us.
