"We’ve stayed in Travelodge in many cities. For the same price and the quality and experience was great. This hotel was overpriced, reception always closed. No food to order on an evening, which is why we choose to stay at Travelodge's for trips. The rooms heating was dreadful. It was either on 22 degrees or freezing. For the price we paid it was a poor experience. The key card didn’t work despite repeatedly getting this fixed and having to call to be allowed in. "

"Staff team and the AC is amazing!! However, it is 2026 and their tv does not have Netflix/prime or any streaming services so the tv was very boring. The pillow is thick I do not sleep on my back so it was quite uncomfortable wish they had optional thin pillows. Parking isn’t free which is greedy. And the shower does not have a flexible shower hose which isn’t very hygienic. Needs improvement, and an 2026 update."

"I was a bit disappointed in the room, the table wasn’t near the mirror so I couldn’t sit to put my makeup on and the light was not very good, the only place that was lit well was the bathroom but I can’t stand for very long due to my stroke. The room was very small, we kept hitting our toes on the bottom of the bed which was very painful at one stage I thought I’d broken my little toe, felt like getting a hammer to the bottom of the bed 😡😖 I thought it was just me then my friend did it I know how she felt 😖"

"We had very poor customer service during our stay . We use travel lodge all the time and this is the first time we have been so disappointed. My husband has cancer and is unwell and despite it being January all the corridor windows were open and it was freezing and so was our room . So I ask at reception for extra blankets and am given a flat ‘no we do not give out extra duvets ‘ , then book ask to order food and I am given the unwelcoming ‘ it is at least a 40 minute wait ( the restaurant was not busy ‘ . During our wait I check the website - yes you can get extra blankets !! . I point this out and still nothing Will not be using this one again and will be complaining"

"Great location and lovely view of the river (paid a little extra for the riverside view room). Pat checked us in and she was very friendly, smiley and helpful. She’s a real asset to the Premier Inn. My youngest daughter has CMPA, a Milk allergy and she’s always been able to have the mini blueberry muffins (although a may contain) at Premier Inn which has been a godsend as she see’s her older sister have pancakes ect and would otherwise miss out. However unfortunately it appears they’ve recently changed the supplier/recipe and it now contains milk. And although they will cook eggs separately and she can have cereal with oat or soya milk there now isn’t any sweet treat breakfast option for her. Which is disappointing."
