"We spent there the night of New Year’s Eve, we were four in two rooms both were dirty (tents). One of the tents had a broken window, smelly blankets and with holes, the bathroom was scary to say the least and lots of ant nests, there wasn’t any kind of soaps and when we asked for it they brought us two little sample of just shampoo (no body gel or hand soaps) and the only towels they gave us were two hand towels. The other one had the A.C. broken and you don’t want to know how cold it gets at night. I usually don’t write many reviews but I had to make sure that people knew what they are going to find if they decide to go there. Dinner time then came… 100€ each for a “BIG NYE DINNER” that was a cold buffet with very few choices started at 7:30, by 8:30 everything was over, with no dessert. Of course the drinks were excluded and we wanted to drink some wine to celebrate (and to not think about all the disappointments) but they ran out after we ordered 2 bottles. I guess they had a total of like 7 bottles of wine. We tried to be positive and waited for the music to start since they built a stage to dance and wait for the midnight, unfortunately there were about just 10 locals having the time of their life and at 11:40 they stopped because they had to go celebrate somewhere else apparently.. basically thrown a party for them with tourists’ money. I save you the description of the breakfast. The owner of the hotel didn’t even say happy new year when she saw us, no attention to details, very poor customer service, no working WiFi and very expensive for Tunisian standards. We truly hope you don’t choose this place for your desert experience, you don’t even realize you’re in the desert because you’re in a sort of street where everybody can easily reach with their car. It was a complete let down from the first minute to the last. The only good thing was that we stayed there only one night, sadly it was a special night, being NYE."

"This is a unique place to stay walking distance to natural oasis and Sahara dunes. Half board was mediocre at best. Staff seemed to have no desire to customer service. No wifi, rooms have AC just above bed, but either cold either AC right on you or hot either way it off. Pool was refreshing, tower offers scenic view of tents and pool."

"The bungalows were very basic. The overall setting lends itself well to cultural immersion and encourages a sense of escape. You couldn't be in a better place to experience the desert. My only problem was the difficulty of getting from the bus station to the hotel at night. They failed to mention that if I wanted to walk (30 minutes), a large part of the way is in complete darkness because there is no street lighting, and it's through fields and palm trees. It can be frightening for someone unfamiliar with desert environments."

"Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a trip into Sahara itself. Hotel looks great, spacious with nice areas to relax and with a great pool. Food option are basic but paletable, rooms are pretty basic. No mod-cons here but i've paid more to stay in worss. Staff were polite, helpful, and friendly."
