Especially the somewhat heavier-set man at the front desk was very unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable. It's a shame, because a friendly welcome makes a big difference. "I honestly think that this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in (we stayed four nights), everything about it was just lovely. Location couldn't be better, it is in the centre of town/near beach but tucked down a side street so no traffic/people noise. The hotel has been totally refurbished, decor throughout is excellent and verything is pristine. Beds are very comfortable, plenty of hot water in a double shower. Breakfast is superb, huge amount of choice for a small hotel, excellent quality, and can be eaten outside on a delightful patio area. But the cherry on the top is the staff - without exception everyone was so helpful and pleasant."
