Taking the Tram from Edinburgh Airport, I got off at Picardy Place and the hotel was right across the street. The location is decent; it's about a 10-minute walk uphill to Waverley Train Station. There's a Tesco right next to the hotel and a large shopping center about 200 meters away. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. I stayed in a top-floor room, which was just so-so (see pictures). A plus was the Type C charging port next to the bed, very convenient. The downside, at least in my room, was a sporadic vibrating noise during the day. It stopped at night, and I'm not sure what it was, especially since my room was far from the elevators. Speaking of which, there are two elevators, but only one serves the 6th floor. Breakfast was as pictured; the same items for both days, no variety. There was a kettle in the room. I was able to check in about half an hour early, which was nice.

Location is excellent, walkable to all the tourist spots.I literally walked to all the places without taking bus ride at all. I booked for studio suite, it has kitchen in it, equipped with microwave, electrical stove, dishwasher and washing machine!! It has more than everything you need in the room. There is Tesco express just 2 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient! The only minor down side is house keeping not provided everyday , but u still can request the amenities or coffee refill if you need to. But this doesn’t bother me at all. I highly recommend to traveller who wish to do small cooking during the trip to stay here. It worth for the price u pay.

Booked a 5 day stay at this location. Check-in process was easy. Hotel representative was very helpful. Location wise, easy to find even for 1st time visitors. Easy access to most of the transportation from this location. Rooms are clean & maintained well. Basic amenities & services are good. Please keep in mind that you get what you paid for. For a great value, the condition (good condition) of the hotel will reflect what you pay. And for the value that we paid, I'm satisfied with the hotel. Thank You Edinburgh House Hotel for a great experience 👍🏻

Very good living choice, very close to the train station, there are two small supermarkets next door, the supporting kitchen facilities are very complete, convenient for cooking, the service staff can also be very good, you can also store your luggage for free, the only regret is that you will check out at 10 am

The first time I booked a homestay on Trip.com , I encountered a lot of trouble, but I still have to praise the positive service attitude of the housekeeper first! But there are a lot of problems with the homestay: First of all, the address of this homestay is wrong. We found it wrong after we found it according to the address. A few locals took us over after seeing the booking picture, which delayed us for more than an hour, and praised the children for communicating in English. To find a place to live! I finally entered the room and found that the room was super cold. Then I found that the heating equipment was not working. I called the hotel to communicate (more praises the children's English) and said that there was no hot water and the equipment was broken. So I waited for more than half an hour. The hotel sent someone to repair it! There were twists and turns, but fortunately, it was finally repaired. I was ready to change the hotel when I was angry, but I really didn’t like to toss luggage (no elevator). Fortunately, the hot water, the heating was repaired, and the customer service attitude was proactive. Finally, I continued to live. I hope the hotel will correct the mistake. The address can be written wrong, it is really speechless!

Except that it's hard to find, there is a very small doorway, you can't see it carefully, and there is nothing wrong with it. There is no reception, just contact the administrator through the small phone at the door, and he will tell you your apartment number and entry code. It is very close to Calton Hill, and all major attractions in Edinburgh can be visited on legs except for the Arthur’s Crown.

The host was friendly, knew a lot about the location so gave us a few places to visit. There were free biscuits and mints always accessible. Place was quaint and cozy and not too far from the tram stations to the centre.

Good location with a bus stop & supermarket within 2 minutes walking. Easy to get into old town or going to Leith beach. Only drawback to our stay was that our room, room 5, had its bathroom OUTSIDE the room. To access it, you walk out of the room, through the hallway, past room 4 & then enter your bathroom. Got annoying after the first night when I’m fumbling around in the middle of the night for the bathroom key. All in all, good location, reasonable price.
