"Fantastic stay at the Kaiserhof over the Christmas holidays as a family of four. Service was excellent throughout – genuinely friendly, attentive staff who made everything feel easy and welcoming. Our family room was huge and very comfortable with separate toilet and bath/shower room. Great location right next to the ski slope with the option to ski in and out (though a steep drop right off the bat so not ideal if you are a beginner like me). The hotel’s shuttle bus to the cable station and nearby areas was therefore very useful. Facilities are excellent including an indoor pool and a heated outdoor infinity pool plus a bunch of extras such as saunas, steam rooms, infrared rooms and spa facilities. Breakfast was outstanding and the fine-dining dinner each evening was consistently very good. Our children loved the kids’ club which has baby sitter available between 5 pm and 9 pm. They even had Santa visiting on Christmas Eve bearing gifts for the kids. Only minor gripe was the transparent bathroom design. This is fine with young children but will be a tad awkward as they get older. Overall, a great all round experience and a hotel we would happily return to."

"Yet another wonderful stay.The weather was decidedly mixed with a combination of beautiful sunny days heavy rain and the greatest amount of snow we have ever experienced in the many years we have visited here.No matter it was just such a pleasure to be there once again.The Hochflizer is such a special place to visit.First and foremost are the Staff who go out out of their way to make sure you have a great time,and nothing is ever too much trouble for them.Standards here are first class but what makes this hotel a standout is that each guest is made to feel so special,and this very much comes from the owner,Ingrid,for her attention to detail,and her great social interaction with her guests.Having visited over twenty times ,to maintain such high standards must be extremely difficult,but this is what Ingrid and her Staff have managed to achieve."

"Just back from a short stay at this hotel and can truly say it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel itself is beautiful with an amazing infinity pool and spa area. The food was also fantastic. What makes this hotel really stand out however is the family feel and the service you receive throughout. Our waiter during our stay (Odysseus) gave us the best service we have had on a holiday, remembering which wine we ordered each night, remembering our coffee orders at breakfast and brining these without us asking, and just generally making us feel at home. We were also really impressed with how involved the owners are - they would regularly pop over to chat to us and make sure everything was perfect with our stay. We will definitely be back!"

"This our 3rd visit to Ellmau and the 3rd time in the Claudia which is now called the Flora. This was our 1st week of a 2 week 2 centre holiday which we booked with Inghams. As before we had a wonderful week, all the staff provided an excellent service. We stayed in a large room with comfy bed. Lovely breakfasts in the Flora and dinner in the main hotel The Hochfilzer which is just a very short walk away. Even though we've been here before, we're glad we came back and even spent a short time with the Rep on the Sunday morning and learnt a few more things about the village and we can travel even further for free with the Wilder Kaiser guest card. Well done Ingrid for running everything. To Lukas and his team for our wonderful breakfasts. To Goran and the bar staff for our evening meals. The the kitchen staff for varied and interesting dinners. Not forgetting our 'room fairy' for keeping our room clean & tidy. Yes, one day we'll be back. "
