Lakeside Forster Holiday Park and Village ★★★★

📍 13 Tea Tree Road, Forster

"Beautiful spot on the lake, just out of town a couple of minutes drive. Nice big mainly grassed sites, fairly quiet out of school holidays. Gorgeous sunsets over the lake. Staff very helpful . Amenities clean and good camp kitchen. Can be a bit windy and also a bit wet and muddy at times as you are near the coast . Have stayed here before and will be staying again ."

Discovery Parks - Forster

Discovery Parks - Forster ★★★★

📍 99 Aquatic Road, Darawank

"Although the room is not big, it is fully equipped, with a separate bedroom and a small bedroom with a single bed (a pair of single beds with upper and lower bunks, which can accommodate 4 children at the same time, which is quite friendly for families with children). However, I still regret not choosing an apartment by the lake. The lake feels more open and less disturbed. We arrived at about 5 o'clock. After getting the key, I wanted to go to the front desk to ask a question, but found that the door was closed. I remembered that the other party called my name accurately when checking in. The child said that we were the last one. The other party went off work after giving the key. We checked in on Thursday, but the occupancy rate was also quite high. The couple next to us seemed to be in their 60s and towed a speedboat over. We also saw a bunch of young people playing water sports there on the day we arrived. The standard for staying in the hotel we chose before was a holiday apartment on this trip, which was also a very good experience. We made our own breakfast and dinner. It was a good stop on the way to the Gold Coast or back to Sydney"

Laurina Estate

Laurina Estate ★★★★

📍 12 Laurina Drive, Darawank

"A beautiful 2 bedroom home that give you privacy, but help from the hosts (Megan and Rob) if you ever need. The house is clean and beautiful, and opens up to a amazingly green backyard that was the best fun for our little one. The alpacas were a treat, but the grass was constantly a bit too wet to venture close. On our last night we decided to order from the room menu, and I wish we did it sooner! The meals were cooked by Megan, and it was the most delicious food we had in our week there! The outdoor bath is a lovely way to relax in the afternoon, and the sunsets that you watch from the backyard each night are divine. Town was just a quick 10-15min drive away, and it was great to have such strong wifi all around the property too."

Lakeside Forster Holiday Park and Village ★★★★
"Sunset Villa was 15m away from the water with lovely views. Spacious two bed cabin with outdoor setting(6) and indoor large table(4), big comfortable lounge and beds were very nice. Cooktop(gas)and microwave plus a dishwasher. Decent size tv with good Wi Fi. The park is very neat and well laid out. Situated a few k's south of the Forster centre. The biggest shopping centre is very close though. Lovely area reasonably busy with plenty of eateries. Plenty of beachs/waterways. Would definitely recommend the park and the area."

Forster Motor Inn ★★★
"We stayed one night on our way to Coffs harbour. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The only negative for me was the flight of stairs up to the room which were quite steep. This was my own fault though as I did not ask for a ground floor room."

"The hotel's location is quite good; there's a beautiful lake right across the street, and the lake is especially beautiful in the mornings and evenings when the sunlight reflects off it. Breakfast includes bread, milk, coffee, and fruit."
