"Lovely views of the lake and gardens. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops. Breakfast excellent and lady who organised it was delightful. Shower spoilt with pink marks on grouting and black mildew spots on grout and silicone. Disappointing because of the shower."

"Family run, Friendly, rooms all wood mountain style, quiet at night. Restaurant has a great menu, with regional ˋgrandmother’ specialties as well as the classics. We loved the hearty mountain dishes. Located near the lake and the ice cream shops, surfboard and pédalo rentals, perfect location for walks around the lakeshore. And the manager + service staff are attentionate and on the ball. We loved our stay."

"Perrine on the front desk was very welcoming and gave us a choice of rooms. We were put on the third floor with a window view of the lake. The room was beautifully laid out. Space in all rooms. Large comfortable bed. The hotel is very well kept and gives a charm of another age. The breakfast was good standard buffet. Good value for that level of luxury."

Hôtel de La Paix ★★

"Poor. There is no food available in the hotel so definitely no Brasserie. Breakfast is ok. There are no staff around most of the time - worst of all there is no lounge area so we all ended up sitting on the floor of the entrance lobby. It’s a great location but it’s tired and shabby. Some basic things missing, no tea or coffee in room, no do not disturb hangers. Basically its a not very good B&B"

Hotel de La Route Verte ★★

"Stolen headphones (worth over 200 euro) - forgot them in the room and same evening when called no answer, and next day over email just the answer that they are not in the room (yeah, they just vanished - they even have a note on the door of each room that if you damage something you pay, if you forget something they mail it to your location, aha, right), well, I guess them or the cleaning people just took them straight. Breakfast experience: to laugh, no other, when asked if they bring more omelet the lady said no as they have no more eggs and another group ate all omelet twice that morning and they are afraid to do a third time for that group not to eat it all again... in the end they agreed to do an omelet out of 1 egg for two people (to mention it is separately paid breakfast). Dusty room, no snow removal from the emergency stairs."

"Doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s very nice. It’s been nicely modernised. The receptionists are ver helpful. The room wasn’t big but it had everything you needed. Nice bath shower. Great air conditioning which in France can vary. Good parking. Small garden and sun terrace. The restaurant is beautiful with the best French food we had on our trip. We had great wine recommendations too. Good location near the lake. We only had one night but could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend."
