"This property is a large 3-bedroom townhouse in a secure complex which would be perfect for a family or for a longer stay. The kitchen was very well equipped with a 5-burner gas stove, 90 cm oven, coffee pod machine, microwave, toaster and cookware, as well as plenty of crockery, glassware and cutlery. On the ground floor there was a laundry equipped with a washing machine, dryer and toilet. Outside there was a private courtyard with seating and a washing line. The three bedrooms were upstairs with a spacious shared jack and jill bathroom. This was excellent with a large vanity (with lots of space to put your things), bathtub and shower. We really liked the secure lockup garage with roller door. We didn’t being instructed to empty the bins, clean the kitchen and strip the bed before checking out – we go on holiday so we don’t have to do that! "

"The motel requires considerable money spent on it to modernise and bring it up to contemporary [accessibility] standards. The only advantage to this motel is its proximity to Griffith's CBD. There is no allocated [accessible] parking, so its potluck if you park near your room. The reception is not accessible, and the only ramp from the carpark to the accessible room (room 110) is narrow, ill-defined and poorly maintained. Many of the features of the room are not accessible from a wheelchair (AC control, blinds, window in bathroom, clothes hangers) and the lack of powerpoints means charging a wheelchair is problematic. Overall, from a wheelchair perspective, there are several Griffith motels that cater to the mobility restricted guest far better than the Econo Lodge Motor Inn. However, the one staff member, Karen, was very helpful."
