"The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Outstanding service, great location, incredible facilities and a breakfast that I dream about ever since. We loved the swimming pool, the gym, the island of peace that the resort was - and the comfort of our room. Even though we had to settle for a twin room (we booked with next to no prior notice) it was extremely comfortable. But really, the staff made our stay super memorable. Cannot recommend this place enough!"

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The property is very nice overall, and the breakfast area is especially beautiful, set right in front of the sea, which makes for a really relaxing start to the day.
One of the biggest advantages is the location and layout. The hotel stretches across the width of the island, with access on both sides, so you can easily reach the port on one side and Railay Beach on the other. This makes getting around very convenient.
The rooms were in good condition and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Overall, a very pleasant experience in a well-located hotel."

"Spent 4D3N with family at the hotel. Room is a bit outdated but still spacious. The room I stayed in facing the street, and above convenient store, 7-Eleven. Hence, it is still quite noisy at night. Quite a distance walk (10-15mins) from beachfront. Breakfast is so-so, just decent to keep you feed before the daily activities. One thing to praise is the friendly staff and also the refreshing welcome drinks. Overall a pleasant stay there."

"The Railay Princess Resort & Spa was very very good. First time we’ve stayed there and we were very happy with the resort, facilities and location … great location!
The restaurant offers very good meals and in particular breakfast was terrific!
It’s true there’s quite a few monkeys hanging around but leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone.
Overall a lovely resort and will be our “go to” accommodation when we’re back in Railay Bay.
Highly recommend!!"

"This hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and was enough room for both me and my husband. It came with a balcony overlooking the pool which you have to choose when booking. Walkable to the night market and in area somewhat away from the clubs and restaurants. You can easily catch a tuk tuk to take you to the lively area which is only 5 minutes away. They have two hotels next to each other so it depends on the room that you book which will determine which one you will have your stay. We stayed at the one that was, according to them, more of a three star compared to the five star one next door. The breakfast was sooooo good with lots of variety. The eating area was a bit crowded but nice and you can always find a place to sit. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. In the lobby there is a very nice woman who will help you set up excursions and they will pick you up in the lobby. We went on the sunset excursions and it was absolutely amazing! We had no complaints during our stay and will definitely go back there next time we’re in Ao Nang."

"Stayed at Infinity Ao Nang recently and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, and incredibly clean, with a really relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind straight away. "The room was spacious, featuring a balcony and a bathroom with a dry/wet separation, and the hot water supply was excellent. The only downside was the slightly old mattress, which lacked support on the edges. All the staff were very friendly and cheerful; they even gave me a cake for my birthday (as I was staying for an extended period). The hotel is located in Ao Nam Mao, and it costs around 100 baht to get to Ao Nang Beach by taxi. Having a motorbike would definitely make getting around easier."

"We had a very disappointing and disturbing experience during our stay at this hotel.
Unfortunately, money was stolen from our room. What makes the situation even more concerning is that not all of the cash was taken — exactly half of it was missing. This made it less immediately noticeable, but it was very clear to us that the amount had been deliberately reduced.
We always keep track of our belongings, and there is no doubt that the money was taken while we were out. This raises serious concerns about security and trust, especially in a place where guests expect their personal items to be safe.
We only discovered the issue later the same day, after we had already checked out of the hotel, which made the situation even more upsetting.
Because of this experience, we cannot recommend this hotel and strongly advise future guests to be extremely cautious with their valuables."

"We chose this hotel mainly because of the sea view — and it became the highlight of our stay. From the 4th floor, the view of the ocean and sunset is absolutely beautiful. In the evening, it’s very pleasant to sit on the balcony with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. The balcony is not very big, but it’s perfect for a quiet moment for two.
The room was clean and well maintained, with good housekeeping and room service. The staff are friendly and helpful.
However, there were a few downsides.
Breakfast is officially served until 10:30, but when we came between 9:40 and 10:00, many items were already gone and not refilled. The food is tasty, but the variety is quite limited.
We also booked a sea-view room like in the photos, but were given a room opposite the building. The balcony had a partial road view and only a partial sea view — not the full “postcard” view we expected.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere is nice, the location is good, and the sunsets are truly amazing.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, but advise confirming the room view in advance and coming early for breakfast 😉

This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway.
Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. He took excellent care of me, always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions we had about the food—just ask him anything you need!
Location: The location is superb! It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven.
Facilities:
• Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing.
• Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely.
Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

AAnonymous UserIf you're looking for a quiet stay, avoid this hotel. The front desk service and public areas were nice, but the room itself was a disaster from facilities to cleanliness to soundproofing. I don't know what percentage of rooms have connecting doors, but the thin wooden doors offer absolutely no sound insulation. You can hear every word spoken at a normal volume from the next room. The wall insulation is also terrible, leading to being kept awake until 3 or 4 AM nightly by parties next door, only to be woken up again around 7 AM by laughter from the room with the connecting door. The shower has a bench underneath it, but the water pressure is so low that the water barely reaches past the bench. For those who don't like sitting while showering, you have to awkwardly lean into the bench, which is very uncomfortable. The hairdryer was rusty, hot, weak, and felt like it could scratch you. There were remnants from a previous guest on the toilet, the comforter had noticeable stains, and housekeeping didn't replenish amenities like toothpaste, so we had to call room service for them every day.

Adults will have a splendid time as well especially with the amazing fantasy pool with slides + another lazy pool in a different location. Yes ...there are 2 different pools. My husband and I loved staying at The Grand Mecure we were in krabi last year and stayed at Hotel Adam but we preferred this.
The room are beautiful the bed and pillows are so comfortable lots of room, we got our room moved and had sea view block c would definitely recommend.
Breakfast was fantastic so much choice definitely something for everyone we tried things we would not normally eat for breakfast and it was delicious.
Before we headed out in the evening we took advantage of bogof cocktails and Dew made an excellent cocktail and is so friendly.
We will 100% be returning to this hotel when we are next in Krabi!!

GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our 4 day stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean. Restaurant had good breakfast and lunch options.
We had a Mountain View room (lovely view) which was in fact a connecting room (adjoining locked door) which was a little awkward as you can hear your neighbours very clearly, maybe something to note on your booking if this is something you wouldn’t like.
The pool area was very well maintained, pool staff are happy to remove towels if people have reserved sunbeds with no intention of returning soon. Making it fair for everyone. The only downside for us was that the pool sunbeds are limited in our opinion and pool is relatively small (which also connects to the swim up rooms) again, if you are considering booking a swim up room, this may mean you don’t have a protected area as it adjoins to the public pool.
We were out and about on trips and beach days so the pool lounger availability didn’t bother us.
Overall we are happy and would return if we visited the area again!

GGuest UserWe had an overall enjoyable stay at Sofitel in Krabi, with a few areas that could be improved—especially given the expectations of a five-star property.
The location is a clear highlight. The beach is calm and relatively private, without the usual crowd of boats, which made for a very relaxing environment.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and consistently good quality. The overall decor of the lobby and restaurants was also beautifully done, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere for both breakfast and dinner.
However, service was somewhat inconsistent. Room service could be slow at times, and on a few occasions, items like trash left outside the room were not cleared promptly. There were also communication lapses—for example, we had requested assistance to coordinate with an elephant sanctuary, but the message was not properly followed through between staff members.
There were also minor maintenance issues, such as a non-functioning balcony light, which we chose not to escalate but would have expected to be addressed proactively at this level.
For a family room, we expected more thoughtful child-friendly design. Simple things like a stool for children to reach the sink were missing, which made basic routines unnecessarily difficult and less safe.
The pool facilities were decent but not outstanding, and cleanliness could be improved. In particular, the kiddie pool had visible debris and bugs, which made it less comfortable for young children. We also found the pool safety setup confusing and somewhat concerning. There were clear warnings stating that there are no lifeguards and that parents are responsible for supervision. However, there was consistently a staff member seated by the pool under a shaded area, appearing like a lifeguard but not actively monitoring the pool. This created a misleading impression and could give families a false sense of security. During our stay, we also witnessed a situation where a child became stuck under part of the pool obstacle structure, and assistance had to be actively requested from nearby staff. While the situation was resolved, it reinforced our concern that supervision and safety measures could be more proactive. Given the number of safety warnings posted around the pool, we were surprised that no trained lifeguard was present, especially as the current setup may give families a false sense of supervision.
One of the main drawbacks was the pricing structure. Many services and items felt excessively priced, including:
• Food at the on-site restaurants (significantly higher than comparable options outside the resort)
• Transport and excursion arrangements (e.g., speedboat pricing well above market rates)
• Activity rentals, such as the Sub Blue underwater scooter (350 THB++ for 30 minutes), which felt disproportionately expensive
• Additional charges for small requests, including delivery fees for food within the property
These added costs created a sense of being “nickel-and-dimed,” which detracted from the overall experience.
Overall, while we appreciated the beautiful location, excellent breakfast, and well-designed spaces, we felt that service consistency, family-friendliness, safety clarity, and value for money could be improved to better align with five-star expectations.

GGuest UserIt started with the parking space in Front of the Hotel, the Reception came to the entrance to welcome us and asked for the ID/ Passport/ Credit Card and we got some refreshment. I am a Permanent Resident and this raise sometimes questions, because it's not so common. They only asked for my Driver License instead of my ID card, I guess because there is the Name in latin letters and Non Residence would have the Passport Number instead of the ID card number.
The checkin was very fast done and needed only the email and two signatures.
The room have a lot of space, a romantic lightning even in the bathroom. And it's direct at the beach.
All staff are super friendly. Even the internship in the Restaurant know was a good service is. And at the checkout we was asked to wait 5 min.. But it take less than 2 minutes. I work for hotels and know what is going on there and this is really impressive. Of course it will be in the high season not always possible to be that fast.
The breakfast buffet was more a brunch than just breakfast. From smoked salmon to cheese, even noodles with cheese, from chok to different curries was all there, different kind of bread and pastries, of course fresh fruits, a egg station and a good selection of juice and a coffee. Not every hotel offer in the low season a buffet and even less a huge buffet like this.
The location is direct on the sea and you don't see a lot of the area around, what gives 4 Stars. To go to a restaurant outside or see something nice, you need to drive. For us was this not the big issue, because we arrived anyway with the car and in 5 min. you find nice places. Also the street to the Hotel is small and some construction sides, but the people there are also all helpful.
The only part where the hotel could improve a little was the fish pond next to the Restaurant, there would be a cleaning needed. What would maybe be done at the next day. We was only one night there and this was not a real issue. But the reason why only 4 of 5 points. All another part of the hotel was in a great condition and very clean.
We loved it there and I am sure we will have some another stop overs there

LLorena CThis is an older place with catfishing photos. The place is not bad but the photos set your expectations too high. I was given the wrong room & no compensation. I did not want a hot tub. I paid for a swim up pool. That is not what I got.
It's okay. The area is great. Good weather makes a 5k walk to the beach worth it. The hotel is a solid okay. Hot water works, but the bath is old and needs a Lysol wipe down and upgrade. For me, it was slightly sus cleaning, but clean linen a decent and location. They comped water, tea , coffee, have a mini fridge and are nice people.
Its an okay place with grimy carpets, joining room doors, an old couch, a kids' wet play area. Some uneven floors but a decent menu that seems to come from some other place. At lunch, there's no kitchen to be seen or cooking smells but the food is good. It is not served in the restaurant, but near the bar and kids' water park.
You can make it work. I did not like having the wrong room.

It used to be a temple so it has a fantastic Thai architecture.
The room and bathroom were really big and spacious. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition.
The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area.
The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.
