Hotels in Shida Night Market/Jiangnan University Town, Harbin

This National Day holiday, my daughter and I traveled to Northeast China. We took the train from Shanghai to Harbin. Since we were going to Harbin Institute of Technology for an aerospace research trip the next day, we stayed at the Hongjiang Jialan Hotel that night. The hotel is right next to Harbin Institute of Technology, which is a great location. The rooms are very spacious, and there are robot services. The price is also reasonable, so I would highly recommend it.

I booked this room for an exam and it was really great. It was very clean and incredibly quiet, so I got excellent rest. The TV picture was also very clear. All in all, it was just fantastic! The front desk staff were also very welcoming and actively answered all my questions. There's access to both buses and subways, making it very convenient to get anywhere.

Everything else was fine, but we mainly chose this hotel for the pool. It turned out to be an affiliated facility, meaning we had to leave the hotel, re-enter another building, and even pay a deposit. To make matters worse, the pool was completely occupied by training sessions. For our kids, who can't swim and just wanted to splash around, it was absolutely maddening, haha! The hotel's location is good, not far from Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. However, catching a taxi back was quite a challenge, and parking was also difficult for those driving.

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean. Its location next to Harbin Institute of Technology makes getting around super convenient, and the subway station is right outside. There are many good restaurants nearby too, with a variety of flavors. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Overall, a great experience!

This hotel offers great value for money overall, with convenient access to all the attractions, whether by subway or taxi. It's clean and tidy, and the heating works wonderfully. There's also a free laundry room. The staff are friendly and efficient. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in! 👏 It was a very pleasant stay.

When they learned I was visiting for tourism, the staff even proactively offered detailed travel guides and local food recommendations, which were very useful. Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation nearby, including a subway station and bus stops. This made it easy to get around, whether for sightseeing or business. The surrounding area was well-equipped with amenities like convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping malls. Honestly, I think the service should be better at this price. My child went downstairs to buy food, and when he went upstairs, he wanted the waiter to swipe the elevator. He ignored them completely. If the child is not sure, can't he call the parents to ask? The child still went upstairs with other guests. But the transportation nearby is still very convenient.

Great! The front desk service was excellent, and they even provided a parking space. They also gave us complimentary breakfast for three people, which was a delicious buffet with a good variety of options. I'd definitely choose Atour again when traveling.

A delightful surprise during my trip to Harbin! Traveling during peak season, I was fully prepared for high hotel prices. I intentionally booked three different hotels to try them out, and surprisingly, this one turned out to be the biggest pleasant surprise. It's conveniently located, close to everything, and offers excellent value for money.
