"Our family of 5 booked the room with an open air bath this January 2025.
We definitely enjoyed our stay. The bath was warm and nice despite the windy and cold weather. The room/s were beautiful, the view of Ise Bay (especially at sunset) was spectacular, and the food was great, especially the dinner. The staff were really accommodating and nice, they even helped us book a taxi to the airport after we checked out.
For those traveling to Shuku Kaifuu by public transportation, I recommend giving them a call before checking in so they could arrange a pick up service from Utsumi (train) station."
The view of the sun setting over Ise Bay, as seen from the public baths, is simply superb; stay at our inn before a visit to Himakajima Island.
"Really nice location with sea in front of you!
The inland sea is home from outside the prefecture, but this time I dared to stay along the sea.
It is a stay to play at the next peace tree.
The bath and hot springs were wet, but it was summer day, so you may be worried.
At breakfast, a couple with a small baby came and prepared a baby cot in a basket. This seems to have been a consideration for the building and it is too nice service! I immediately recommended it to a couple with a baby.
I will stay again!"

"I just want to say. This is the best and best hotel I have ever stayed in. Service and overall. Of course, except for the unaccustomed living on tatami mats. The others are really great. First of all, you can choose your favorite kimono. It's free. They know I can't wear it. I also specially arranged a time to come to my room to wear it for me. Then enter the room. Let me give you some incense first. Choose 5 kinds by yourself. Then watch the sea from the balcony. Super invincible and beautiful. Next is dinner. Be sure to order dinner. Because it's super delicious. good to eat. And the price is right. Wait to go back to the room. The bed has been made for you. Go to the open air for an onsen and delicious sobe popsicles. Perfect. correct. They also prepare supper sushi. The box is super cute. The breakfast is rich and delicious. ocean view Invincible ocean view and invincible cuisine."

"It looks like a condominium at first glance. (Actually, the 5th floor or more was a condominium, and there seemed to be a resident.)
The front desk is on the 2nd floor, and there are many chairs on the 1st and 2nd floors, so there is plenty of room. I stayed in the room alone, so I could use it comfortably. Also. Breakfast was satisfying with a lot of items!
The only thing that made me worried was the entrance to the large communal bath. It was quite open and I was harassed that I could see the inside."
Renovated in August 2023! "Sumie Chita" - A blissful hot spring inn for adults
"If you look for a nice quiet place for a relaxing stay, this is a superb ryokan in the area that I would recommend.
The ryokan building is beautifully decorated, despite its age. I particularly appreciate the sincere service from the manager and hosts. You can rely on them to take care of your stay. They could also provide pick-up and drop-off service at Utsumi Station.
Dinner and breakfast were well-prepared with natural ingredients. Not only are they delicious but also presented nicely. The lobby also provides complimentary drinks and snacks - you can enjoy a little footbath there with a glass of whiskey and some nuts.
Of course you cannot miss the marvellous scenery of the beach.
The only downside is the public onsen bath was a little small. But in general we loved the stay."
Spectacular views of Ise Bay, soothing natural hot springs, fresh seafood purchased directly from the local market, as well as the lodging's famous traditional dish, fried shrimp, can be enjoyed at this ryokan specializing in cuisine. null
"It was an inn run by the dining room, but it wasn't as good as I expected for breakfast. But other wonderful inn that can't complain at all."
An inn whose evening meal receives 5-star reviews, with only 6 rooms. Mifunetei is an inn serving gourmet meals that stands before the glorious with sand stretches of a beach.
