"I had a fantastic trip staying at Hotel Morales and climbing/trekking with their sister company, Peruvian Andean Adventures. Putting together this tailor made trip was great with the expert help of Anne. Hisao, the owner met me at Huaraz airport and took me on acclimatisation walks. I then had a personal guide, cook and donkey man for the trek and climb. Everything worked well and the food was superb. I succeeded in climbing Ishinca (5,530metres) which made me feel younger than my 75 years! Back at the Hotel, Hisao's wife and staff couldn't have been kinder. The rooms were clean, fresh and spacious, the food simple but good and a 10 minute walk to the centre of town meant it was convenient. Definitely a trip that exceeded expectations!"

"We loved our stay with Santa Cruz. It was like staying with good friends. Willie, Flo, Judy, David and others were very friendly, helpful, and professional. From organizing a tour, to answering quick texts about appropriate Taxi fares, arranging laundry, and accommodating our vegetarian diet, everything was perfect. Tasty breakfasts cooked just right, super clean rooms, and just wonderful staff!"

"I stayed in the dorm room. Felt incredibly safe and secure, in a central location but not a noisy location. Lovely staff, modern/ clean room, security locker, hot shower with high pressure, kitchen, garden, fire pit, terrace, common area with TV, couches and games, amazing central location close to everything. They also offer tours straight from the hostel! I don't think there is anything else you could ask for."

The service was outstanding. We especially appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of Daniel, Rosana, and Liz, who always went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from breakfast to dinner. We loved spending our evenings by the fireplace while watching the World Cup matches. The fresh mountain air, the peaceful atmosphere, and the exceptional cleanliness made our stay even more special. "This was a charming, unique place to stay in Huaraz and we were delighted we chose it. The hotel manager, in particular, was incredibly hospitable and helpful. The location is slightly away from the center of town (and the entrance a bit hard to find at first) but walkable, and we came to appreciate the quiet. I traveled with two young boys and our family room (with 5 beds and two toilets) was a little quirky (like the whole hotel) but comfortable and very spacious. My boys loved seeing the resident cat in the courtyard. The breakfast was great too. I would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend the hotel. "
