"Stayed here for a wedding this weekend and we fell in love with Newberry beach lodge! Run by super helpful and kind people who make you feel at home and welcome. The room was gorgeous with a luxurious bathroom. The view from our bedroom window was absolutely divine- looking out onto the cove and the still, calm ocean. We didn’t get to explore much as we were at a wedding we will definitely return as loved it so much and we will bring our daughter next time :)"

"Absolutely amazed at the value for money this Bed and Breakfast provides... The breakfast was quality ingredients and excellent choice. Mentioned in passing how hot it was and worse because of my age and on my return back in the afternoon to our room a tower fan was by the bed. Really felt they went above and beyond. Room 6 was a beautiful elegant room with stunning views. We would like to praise the housekeeping staff for exceptional high standards. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard with clean towels and complimentary biscuits. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels that have not provided such a high standard... A bonus to this lovely bed and breakfast was the 2 minute walk to the Thatched Inn for a a lovely meal and drink. Our experience was a lovely break in beautiful surroundings in a welcoming environment..Thank you Laston House Staff 😀"

"We arrived exhausted from walking the coast path and Chris gave us a warm welcome before showing us to our beautiful homely room with a stunning view of the sea. It had been lovingly decorated and we had a huge bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the antique crockery which Chris had spent years collecting. He also made us a hearty and generous packed lunch to take on our walk. Nothing was too much trouble and it was an absolute pleasure to stay somewhere with such a homely atmosphere. If you want somewhere quirky where you will be made to feel at home you’ll love it here."
