"I cannot say enough about this place ! it was everything i dreamed Sri Lanka would be. it took around an hour and 45 minutes max to arrive at the villa from the colombo airport, but it was well worth the drive. we arrive hours before check in but our room was ready and wow it was beautiful. traditional colonial style. the furniture and decor was absolutely beautiful. Impeccably clean and well managed by Nuwan and his team of amazing staff, Sandou was so kind and couldn't do enough for us. information about the area was excellent. they arranged for us to see traditional dancing and fire eating in the local village which was amazing. I was sad to leave and we will return. ! This holiday was possibly my best ever and we have been to alot of places. the people, the food, the weather, the tuk tuk driver we met , Je Je was also fantastic and took us everywhere. the river boat in bentota is also a must. Honestly, if you like traditional class, kindness and relaxation this is the place ...."
