"A lovely hotel, conveniently situated near keflavik airport..Stunning Deco, rooms were immaculate, and the spar facilities are second to none..We never used it as there was an extra cost.. Shame there was no view of the harbour. However, the sky from our room was spectacular.. Glitch on the system would not let me attach photos."

"Chose a Courtyard by Marriott next to the airport. The room was quite small, and the bathroom felt like an afterthought partition. Water would splash out during showers, so it wasn't a true wet/dry separation, but thankfully I only stayed one night and just needed a quick shower. I had to ask the front desk for toothpaste and a toothbrush, and they wouldn't bring it to the room; I had to go down and get it myself. There were no slippers provided."

"The distance from Keflavik Airport is quite a dilemma. While it's walkable, you'd be walking through a dark, unlit wilderness at night, which can be scary. I'd advise women, children, and the elderly to avoid it. If you opt for a taxi, it takes less than 5 minutes from the airport but costs around 2000 yen, which feels like a waste. The hotel itself is fantastic, as expected from a Marriott property. The staff service is excellent, and the room and amenities are top-notch. The only issue is the distance from the airport. It would be a great choice for those who are renting a car."

"Two of us wanted to overnight before a flight the next morning. We arrived after staff had gone and got in with a door code. The rooms were small and comfortable and there were shared bathrooms. There was a wide range of tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. There was a phone for booking a taxi. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. (About £20.00). The best feature was that we were only a minute of two from the main street (it is a very small place) and found a good bar and excellent Italian. All good."

"The service is very considerate, the front desk is very polite, helps with taxi service, informs the price in advance and ends the check-in when the price is reached. Although the elevator was stuck at 5 am, the front desk responded quickly and solved the problem. They also helped carry the luggage downstairs, the environment and the room, etc. Very comfortable, first choice near the airport"
