"Located halfway up the mountain, if you miss the hotel's shuttle bus, you'll have to take a taxi. It's indeed deep in the mountains, but it's incredibly comfortable and quiet, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The food selection is quite extensive, but the taste is just average. The most fun part is the one-click mountain train ride, haha, and then you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs at the summit!"

"We arrived around 7pm. It was snowing outside, so we didn't want to go out to eat. We were told that the inn served dinner, so we had a Atka mackerel set meal and a fried oyster set meal. Although the inn looked like it had a long history, the room we stayed in was in a modern business hotel."

"I stayed at Mt. Asama after climbing. ２ I stayed. I paid at the cafe and told the cafe's sister about security, location and rules in the building, and when I went up to the cafe 〜, there was an accommodation. As soon as you go up, there is a kitchen, laundry, and shared space, and you can enter the accommodation with a card key distributed to the guests. From there, it is divided into a male and female dormitory and a female exclusive dormitory, and the female exclusive dormitory can enter and exit by the password number. I think there were about 10 rooms. There were two shower rules, a toilet and a washroom in the female dormitory, and I felt that it was considered to be a female guest. I stayed at ２ but the second night seemed to be the only female dormitory I was comfortable. I'll bother you again."

"We visited the inn as a historical site. Its name is pronounced "Kumeya." It was previously in almost untouched condition, but with the help of a subsidy, it has been renovated and is now open for business as an inn. There are five rooms, most of which are Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, but there are also rooms with beds. The garden in the courtyard was also magnificent. Incidentally, it seems that the Kaga Maeda clan also used the inn as a purveyor. However, the lord stayed in the main inn, while the waki-honjin was for senior officials."

"First of all, looking at the area, it is a place that cannot be reached without a car. However, considering the cost of accommodation in Karuizawa, it can be an alternative. There are no other accommodations nearby and it is hidden like a hidden gem. A special feature is apple soup, and an open-air bath is also available. To enjoy Baan Hot Springs, you have to climb about 50 stairs. Also, because the old building and the new building are separated, there is a big difference in price. In cheap old buildings, bathrooms are shared and quite cold. If possible, I recommend staying in the new building. If you refer to the website, you can take a winery tour for free."

"Large hotel with a great view of the surrounding area. Located within easy walking distance of the train station, very central and at the entrance to the castle ruins. Room was spacious, and well furnished, but the bathroom was slightly dated, however did have a modern toilet. This hotels clientele is Japanese by a vast majority, but staff and signs are multilingual, unlike what I'd heard. As this hotel is in a city which does not get too many foreigners, and is off the traditional tourist route, I was genuinely surprised at how welcomed I was by both staff and guests. Very charming! Cleanliness could be worked on, and does need updating, but the feel of the whole place more than makes up for these shortfalls."
