📍 Prvoslava Rakovića 6, Kragujevac

"We travel a lot all over the world. This was by far the worst hotel service we ever experienced. The staff was extremely rude in all ways possible. Waitress was laughing in our face because we asked what omlett is served with. She told me “ you are in Serbia, mam” as if i asked the dumbest question anyone could ever ask. Another time, a waitress made fun of me because i did not use the proper words to order freshly sqeezed orange juice. She laughed at me and was rude. Upon check-in, instead of welcoming us and explaining ammenities of the hotel, she asked us to unload our own luggage and to move the car asap. On top of all, they told us that no hotel in Serbia has bell man service. We stayed at so many hotels in Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia (former Yugoslavia) with the best service as well as bell man service. This staff needs basic hospitality and tourism training. I would never stay here again. "

Hotel Ženeva Lux ★★★★

📍 Slobode bb, Kragujevac

"I must say I had mixed feelings about my experience at the Zeneva Lux Hotel, and ultimately decided to lower my rating because some flaws are unforgivable given the price range. The property is well-presented, the style is modern, and it offers ample parking, which isn't always a given. The location is beautiful for its sweeping views, but it's unfortunate at a time of rapid expansion in the area, which is rife with construction work. The room I stayed in had a good view and was equipped with every comfort: a desk, a sofa, a large TV (with local channels, of course), a spacious bathroom, and a hallway to store all my suitcases. The bathroom was truly beautiful: a large glass shower with a curtain that opens for small "shows" inside the room, a whirlpool tub, a large mirror, and plenty of lighting for getting ready. I wasn't too keen on the toilet: it was low, uncomfortable, and above all a bit squeaky (it's one of those wall-hung models). Some wall outlets seemed to be loose, and others were sealed with silicone. The room was extremely clean; I didn't really find any issues with that. The room temperature was difficult to adjust: 28°C in late October, and it only had a small, full-length tilt-and-turn window. Breakfast was a real sore point; it was only available to order, not a buffet, with limited choices and subpar products. Truly disappointing in that regard."

"Terrible service, full time amateurs. Everyone is totally lost. Hotel management is hiding, does not want to communicate things with guests and overall they are destroying the hotel with horrible service. It is beautiful place but their employees and managers are full time amateurs, causing nothing but frustration and anger."

"Cold room, bad smell of sewer coming out of the shower tray, water from the shower tray that wouldn't go away, room never cleaned, they only make the bed, poor breakfast and old croissants and cakes from the previous days left over, every day less and less things at the breakfast buffet, no lift, they make you pay for double coffee, rude and unprofessional reception"
