My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The room was spotlessly clean, with meticulous attention to detail everywhere. The mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a wonderfully quiet night. Check-in at the front desk was quick and smooth, and the staff were polite and responsive to all requests. The location is superb, making dining and getting around very convenient. Overall, it felt cozy and secure, making it a top choice for accommodation in this city. I've already recommended it to friends and look forward to staying again.

The bougainvillea in the courtyard is absolutely beautiful, and the environment is very comfortable. You can play billiards and table tennis here. The food in the restaurant is also delicious. It's quite close to Green Lake and the subway station, making it convenient for getting around.

This is my second time choosing the Grand Park Hotel by Cuihu Lake, having stayed in Kunming a few times. The location is truly a 'hidden gem' – No. 20 Honghua Bridge, within a ten-minute walk to the Yunnan Military Academy, Yunnan University, and Wenlin Street. You can even see the shimmering waters of Cuihu Lake from your window. It's a well-established five-star hotel; while it's older, it's well-maintained. The solid wood furniture and ethnic patterned carpets give it a distinct Yunnanese vibe, rather than a trendy, 'influencer-style' aesthetic. The extra-long windows in the room are a highlight. This hotel is perfect for city walks around the Cuihu Lake area, for those traveling with seniors, or guests who prefer not to change locations frequently. However, if you're looking for brand-new facilities or an 'Instagrammable' pool, you might want to consider other options.

Location: Right in the heart of the city center, making it super convenient for shopping, exploring, and hitting all the tourist spots – all within walking distance! It's a really lively area. Facilities: This is a new hotel, and it's quite clean. The rooms must be disinfected after each guest, as I could smell a slight hint of bleach 😊 Service: Parking at the hotel isn't very convenient; it's in a building across the street. However, I was really touched when I called the front desk because I had too much luggage and couldn't find the elevator. Two lovely ladies from the front desk immediately came over to the parking lot to help me with my bags. Their service-mindedness is truly commendable!

Traveling with my parents, we received a free room upgrade. The room was clean and complimentary fruit was provided. The front desk staff, especially one young lady, was very patient and helpful. The hotel is very close to Cuihu Park and within walking distance of Kunming Old Street, which is incredibly convenient.

Having stayed in numerous five-star hotels, both domestic and international, this one definitely has its highlights, but also some noticeable flaws: 1) **Location:** Extremely convenient. It's super easy to get anywhere from here. 2) **Ambiance:** It's right across from Cuihu Park, with beautiful lotus flowers, playful squirrels, and egrets returning to their nests in the evening. The hotel is also right by the famous Huang Gong Dong Street, which attracts many people for photos. The hotel rooms are very quiet, but on Huang Gong Dong Street, there are many paid photography services that hog the spots, making it hard to get a good photo yourself. 3) **Service:** Excellent. Everyone greets guests proactively, and the housekeeping staff are particularly friendly and helpful. 4) **Cleanliness:** Acceptable. 5) **Breakfast:** Quite varied, and the staff were quick to clear used dishes. 6) **Facilities:** This is where the significant flaws lie. The hotel rooms don't have a separate shower, only a bathtub. The bathtub looks quite old, and the showerhead attached to it was completely dysfunctional – no matter how I adjusted it, the water flow was all wrong. I ended up having to shower under a few strong, erratic jets, feeling like I was showering under a fountain for two days – quite a traumatic experience! 😅 7) **Overall:** If they could just replace that faulty showerhead with one that works properly, I would definitely stay here again. Also, while most five-star hotels don't typically have self-service laundry rooms, many guests here are tourists. Having a self-service laundry facility would be a huge plus!

The rooms were quite small upon entering, especially the twin room. The hallway in front of the TV was narrow and felt cramped. However, the rooms were very clean. The bathroom, located behind a partition, was quite nice. The only downside was the lack of space for drying clothes, making it difficult to find a dryer. Although there were dryers, they were very hard to get when there were many people. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, resolving any issues and even offering to receive packages. There's a popular tofu and rice noodle shop downstairs, which is delicious. Cuihu Park is within walking distance.

This hotel has a really nice design, with a color scheme that's pleasing to the eye. The staff are all incredibly warm and friendly, always smiling and greeting you when you pass by. They handle everything efficiently and professionally. The room was clean and tidy, and having a direct drinking water tap was a very convenient and hygienic touch, which I really appreciated. The surrounding area is great too, with a subway station just 400-500 meters away, making it super easy to get around. They also have good amenities like a laundry room and a billiards room on the second floor. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay.

This is arguably the best hotel for scenic views by Cuihu Lake. The hotel has a limited number of lake-view rooms facing Cuihu, offering panoramic views of the entire lake, Kunming's lake and cityscapes, mountains, and the blue sky and white clouds. The hotel's location is superb, just a five-minute walk to Cuihu Park, with other attractions like Yuantong Temple and Huangdong Street nearby. The room decor is modern and stylish, with high-end amenities. Truly the best choice around Cuihu Lake.
