"A nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It was strange that the main lifts are closed for maintenance but there’s no sign to tell people, so I was waiting for a lift for a very long time!"

"To be honest, the impression of the hotel is twofold. On the one hand, it is an exclusive hotel, on the other hand, there were so many people that I did not feel exclusivity. You can't push through the pool. For some reason, in order to get to the pool and the beautiful view, you need to ask the hostess (who, of course, ask with a menacing look if you have a reservation and that there are no places) and you stand behind a red rope that blocks your way. I was not very pleased with this. Perhaps this excludes a super big crush, but the effect itself that they are blocking my way for my money is not pleasant. A very interesting mattress, more like a feather bed. Soft, comfortable. The room is very, very dark - I did not like this either. It is very interesting that at breakfast nowhere is it offered (no picture/message, the waiters do not say) that you can order waffles, avocado toast, or something else. Why is this kept a secret? Why should I, upon accidentally seeing waffles on another table, ask: where can I find waffles?.. I don’t understand."

"The room was great, meeting international chain standards. The breakfast selection was very rich, starting at 6:30 AM, which was just about sunrise. The window facing the street overlooked Copacabana Beach, so I recommend going early to enjoy the sunrise with your meal. The apples and infused water in the lobby were also very nice. The only minor drawback was that complimentary bottled water was only provided on the first day."

"The room balcony has a beautiful view, simple design, rich breakfast, and is also a safe area, but the hotel front desk will sell tickets and game tickets, which are more expensive than buying them yourself. Especially the game tickets: I bought them for 120 RMB, and they bought them for more than 800 RMB, just for the pick-up."

"The hotel is very nice, a real classical beauty. The public spaces and the pool are very nice too, and the breakfast is good. The only thing I really disliked is the Checkin/Checkout process... We lost a lot of time at the arrival, when all you want is get to your room as quick as possible."

"The room has lovely views to the beach the staff are very pleasant. I only had one problem with the nutritionist called Juliana that responded to an email I sent to her explaining about my son’s anaphylactic shock to dairy and unfortunately when we got their to the hotel it was her day off but she had no one ready to cater for my son first they offered him an apple and boiled egg and as soon as I spoke to the manager they made him pancakes scrambled eggs gave him biscuits. It was a shame that Juliana did not do her job properly causing me and my partner stress on our first day at the hotel. But next day they where ready for him and he also had a lovely breakfast just hope that Juliana learns how important it is to get ready for costumers that have severe allergies and treats them with more respected. Apart from this incident everything else was spot on I also called their 24 hr service and order my son some pasta to take to our travel back home and everything was perfect."

"This is the best hotel in Rio de Janeiro if you are looking for a beach experience. The hotel is right in front of the beach in a safe part of it. You will have breakfast right in front of the beach, you get the best view from the rooftop pool (which is heated, for me is a plus). Negative points: cheapest room is incredibly small and has a terrible view. Recepcion is very busy all the time and 20% of the staff are not friendly, but the other 80% are. You can't expect them to book you a restaurant for example, and if they do they will not be very happy. My suggestions for Arpoador: i love your place, i have been there 3 times and i will return. It would be nice to have a welcome drink on arrival, and the pool upstairs could have some relaxing music. Also staff with a little more training would be perfect! Some of them are already perfect."

"Great location, right between Copacabana and Ipanema. The check-in process was very simple and efficient, and the rooms are spacious. There's also a cool restaurant next door that's still developing, which is great because the hotel's Wi-Fi wasn't the best. Plus, there's a small pool on the rooftop."

"We had a small issue with our first room, but we informed the staff and they immediately offered a solution. They were kind, friendly, and very helpful. We would gladly recommend this hotel to everyone!"
