"An honest, decent, and well-managed hotel. It's functional, without being overly fancy, but just what's needed. The breakfast is good. The reception is very attentive, without exception, as are all the staff. The cleanliness is a highlight... it's simple and efficient. I like this hotel, the atmosphere, and the staff's treatment in particular. The rooms aren't large, but they're very functional. The location is excellent, with all kinds of shops nearby. "A decent, budget-friendly hotel in a central location, making it easy to get around on foot. It's not in a particularly attractive area, but it's perfectly adequate for a short stay and an overnight stay. Breakfast was good; I recommend going early, as it gets quite crowded after 10:30 and can be uncomfortable. The staff was average and polite. There was no shampoo in the room. Overall, a good option for the price and location if you're not looking for luxury."

"Great location, but several areas need improvement Arosa Hotel has a great location, right in the heart of Lapa, close to many small local restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and various stores. It’s very easy to get around — in short, the location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, which is definitely a plus. However, several aspects of the service could be improved. Our check-in experience was particularly unpleasant. We were a group of four, and upon arrival, their system was down. Instead of offering a simple or practical solution, the receptionists — who were quite unfriendly and unhelpful — asked us to scan a QR code and complete a long online form. The form included a number of unnecessary questions, more than what one would typically be asked at immigration when entering Brazil. Additionally, the internet did not work at all during our stay. While this didn’t seem to bother local guests, it was a real inconvenience for us as international visitors. Lastly, while the hotel gives off a grand appearance at first glance, the overall structure could really use some updates and maintenance. To sum up: great potential and excellent location, but the guest experience needs serious attention."

"The hotel fulfils its promises! clean room, smelling and clean bed clothes. Breakfast and the perfect breakfast is worth it. Location is good, we went and walked back to the game in Maracana. It has a restaurant and bar right in front and if you need a drink, it is not a problem. It has 24-hour reception, we need a pharmacy help and we have the telephone quickly passed. The only point to wish but did not matter to such positive points was the travess, it could be higher and comfortable. We are happy with the stay. We recommend!!!"

"Good location just one minute walk from Praça Tiradentes in the historic city centre. The hotel is old and needs some refurbishment. WiFi signal was poor. Nice bathroom. The mattresses were old. Considering the cheap price including free breakfast, I would stay there again."
