Hotels near Sanchong Station, Taipei

For context, I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. Pros: * Price. It’s a budget hotel! I paid about $40usd per night. * Location. Very close to all the bus stations and train stations you will need to start exploring Taipei. * Hotel staff were friendly. * My bed sheets were clean. Due to other reviews I was concerned about that. * Good wifi connection. Had an international video call no issues. No random disconnects. * Pretty quiet area. You can hear city noises such as cars and motorcycles in the area but its not disturbing my sleep or hotel enjoyment. * There is several convinience stores nearby, 1-2 minutes of walking. * Some people wrote that the area is sketchy but as a solo female traveler I felt safe both during the day and night on the streets. If you’re worried please check Google street maps. * There is a nice big park very close to hotel which is excellent as I love taking nature and wildlife photos * I dont know if the walls are thick or I had no one around me on my floor but it was really quiet and I never heard other people. So very comfortable sleep! * (Edited as I forgot it originally) The room was very spacious and good size! I could dance here with someone if I wanted to. That felt nice Cons: * No shower curtains means the toilet and floor will be wet. This does seem to be popular in Taiwan though. * Once you enter the room you will smell old cigarette smoke. I’m pretty sure its from many years ago. For me I stop recognizing the smell in about 2 minutes, so it wasn’t bothering me as much. In the past I stayed in smoking Japanese hotels where I’d start coughing and wanting to throw up immediately after entering the room. Not the case here, mild smell. * The overall physical condition of the hotel. Its pretty old and rundown. I would not take a bath in that bathtub. Also no washlet/bidet/bum gun made me sad. * No microwave in the hotel * I was incredibly frustrated with how hard it was to get the water temperature right in the shower. Twist it one millimeter to the left and its boiling hot, one mm to the right and its too cold.

The hotel is just opposite Sanchong station. Very convenient to go town area. Just only one stop away from Taipei Main Station. Room is clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Bonus points: the shampoo is by Crabtree 😍😍😍

I stayed here eight years ago, and it's a bit disappointing that there are fewer TV channels now. The facilities are still quite well-maintained, but the capsule beds could use a bit more cleaning; there's a fair amount of dust in the crevices.

Overall, the experience was very comfortable and clean. During check-in, we were kindly upgraded to an executive room for free, and the room was fantastic! It even had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking and relaxing after a long day of walking. The lobby offered complimentary snacks and drinks, providing a great space to relax and chat. They also provided a late-night supper of congee and small dishes. The breakfast spread was incredibly generous and varied. We were all extremely satisfied and would definitely love to come back again!

We had a great stay at Two Tails Hotel. The location is very convenient since it is connected to a mall. It was easy to find food, shop, and move around. The hotel is also very accessible. The food was great, and the service was excellent. The staff were helpful, and they even assisted us with taxi booking and pick-up, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The place was clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. Overall, an amazing experience. 101/100, highly recommended.

It was okay, but breakfast starts too late. It would be better if it started earlier, especially with all the traffic. No bottled water was a bit inconvenient, and the laundry was a bit pricey.

The staff were great and attentive, and there's a metro and buses nearby. The only downside was the people you'd encounter in the elevator because there are other businesses in the building, especially karaokes, which you could hear quite loudly in the room and made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at Via Hotel Breeze in Taipei. They have a free foot‑spa hot water soaking tub with lavender bath powder, and we used it every night after a long walk; it really soothed our tired and sore feet. The hotel also provides simple breakfast, tea time, and late‑night snacks, with a coffee latte machine, bakery items, snacks, and a ramen bar, which was very convenient. The room and bed are spacious, and although the room décor looks a bit outdated, everything is overall clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are very concierge‑style and friendly. They helped us arrange a private tour guide with driver service at a reasonable price, and we booked a full‑day trip to the east coast through them. It was very convenient and made our sightseeing much easier. Overall, it was a relaxing stay and we would be happy to come back.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. Pro: 1) Good location. Easy access to two MRT stations on the red line. Quite a lot of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. 2) the bed is very big and quite comfortable to sleep on. 3) the room is spacious comparing with other hotels at the same price range. Cons: 1) Very dated room without maintenance. There’s wear and tear all over the places. There were some stains on the wall and molds were found inside the shower cubicle. The carpet looked quite dirty but the slippers provided were very thin. 2) Weird layout of the room. The toilet area is in open plan which make you unable to have privacy when going to shower. In the room I stayed in, a pillar was blocking the view of the TV from the toilet area. 3) the lights in the room are quite dim and the room became very cold at night (even I turned the air conditioner to 30 degrees!). I stayed there alone and didn’t really like the feeling.
