Hotels near Sinyi Elementary School Station, Kaohsiung

We got a connecting room that catered to our needs. The hotel is in a strategic location and is near an MRT station. The downside of this hotel is that the air-conditioning temperature is preset and cannot be adjusted. We asked the receptionist to lower it, but the issue was not resolved in one of the rooms and it still felt warm. We went back to the receptionist the next day to request another adjustment. They informed us that the controller was faulty and provided us with a fan instead. At least they made an effort to help. Despite this hiccup, we would still recommend this hotel.

Pros: The hotel is incredibly close to Kaohsiung Station, just a four or five-minute walk away. This is super convenient for anyone traveling without a car and relying primarily on public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic to assist with any issues. Their service definitely enhanced the overall experience. Cons: The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear almost everything happening on the entire floor, whether it's from nearby rooms or further down the hall. It seemed like the guests at this hotel were quite late-nighters; people were still moving around, showering, and using the restroom well past midnight. This would be a problem for light sleepers. Also, there are quite a few rooms on each floor, but only one elevator. During peak hours, you might have to wait a little while. Overall Impression: Overall, my rating is still on the positive side. If I'm ever in Kaohsiung alone again and prioritize convenient transportation, I would definitely consider staying here again. Hotel brief: The ground floor has the reception area and a few sofas for lounging; the second floor houses the restaurant and hot spring area; and all floors from the third upwards are guest rooms, with bathroom facilities on each floor.

This was my second stay here, and this time I was on the 3rd floor. In the room, there was a foldable shelf (or something similar) where the screw had completely come loose, making it a bit risky to put anything on it. Also, occasionally I could hear a strange noise, not sure if it was from the bathroom pipes or the air conditioning. However, the food was delicious, the front desk service was excellent, and parking was convenient. Overall, great value for money.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Super clean, comfortable, staff is super attentive and friendly.. really everything perfect. It was my birthday when I checked out and they even gave me a present.. unbelievably nice! I would always come back here and can highly recommend. And the pool is awesome too! Great place!!

The cleaning was terrible; many towels had holes! I even saw a cleaning worker use a towel from my room to scrub the toilet – it was disgusting! Once, a worker even took the plastic bag I used to cover the trash can in front of me to pick up tissues from the table – it was filthy! I stopped him! The room design was poor; the sink was near the entrance, so the floor was always wet after washing my hands, and the water flow was incredibly slow! There was also a lack of hand soap and disposable slippers! The steps to the toilet were very high; it's easy to slip and fall. I deliberately placed a white towel in front of the steps to remind myself that they were high, because falling in a foreign place would be terrible! The hotel's free washing machine was inefficient; clothes were never fully dried! The hotel only had one free dryer, but it was even less efficient; two or three quick-drying items took at least 140 minutes to dry! Cotton clothes would take up to 3 hours! The dryer had to be paused after 140 minutes to cool down before restarting! There were no laundromats nearby! The only advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the Guoyi Elementary and Junior High School MRT station, and the lobby has 24-hour security! The room overlooks a lush green road, but because the bed is placed close to the curtains, it's always difficult to fully open the curtains to see the view outside!

I originally only booked one night, but my plans changed and the hotel far exceeded my expectations, so I extended my stay by another day. The location is excellent, the room is spacious, and the public areas on each floor are beautifully decorated. It offers great value for money and was a pleasant surprise. If I have the chance to visit Kaohsiung again, I'll definitely stay here.

The location is great, about a 7-minute walk from Cianjin MRT station. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. The first room we were assigned was quite noisy, and we had to contact the front desk twice to change rooms before we found one we were happy with. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms each time. Having a coin-operated laundry room was also very convenient!

Hotel Dua is the perfect choice for anyone visiting Kaohsiung. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Exit 6 of Formosa Boulevard Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The hotel itself is impressive. The breakfast is excellent, offering a variety of delicious and well-prepared dishes to start the day right. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day out. One of the highlights for me was the snack bar—such a thoughtful touch—and the service throughout my stay was warm and attentive. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!

Very friendly staff. Located just before the Kaohsiung Train Station. For free breakfast, you ordered when checked in, they gave a small brown bag. ,, Why wouldn't u refill your tumbler with peach tea or milk tea?,,

This hotel is located in Central Park. It takes around 5-10mins to walk to the metro station. The 4 ppl room is quite standard in this price. However, the most impressed thing is the pantry. It has a good environment and background music. There is also some book that can borrow.
