"It was very strange that the key card here uses a red light and multiple beeps to open the room door. Normally, hotels would just have a green light and one beep to enter. Here, you have to wait for the light and beeps to finish flashing before you can enter. At first, I thought the key card wasn't working, so I went to the front desk to ask for a new card or a different room. It was very comfortable, and I appreciated the glow-in-the-dark star stickers on the ceiling. However, there were no tissues provided, and no laundry service."

"This hostel is a great option for low budget. The vibe of the hostel is good, lively, warm. The staffs are nice and helpful here. Remember a staff named Yasmine, she kindly reminded me about the check out time with no pressure. Really recommend!"

"The holiday Inn ticked all the boxes so I kept coming back for more by rebooking day after day with added discounts on trip.com. A Good night sleep in a comfy double bed after a late night sauna on 7th floor after a day of exploring the tourist attractions of Hamburg thanks to the convenient train station 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Friendly staff and a tasty all you can eat, breakfast buffet sets you up for a day of exploring Hamburg Harbour and other tourist attractions. Highly recommended."

"No issues with the hotel itself and the service (both are excellent), the only downside is the location. Nothing particularly interesting in the surrounding area and the construction made it tedious to get to but on the plus size, the train is a quick 10 minute walk away."

"Hotel is about an 8 min walk to the train station. There is construction nearby which meant we had to walk a short path in the dirt through a park area but not a big issue. Hotel was clean and beds were comfy. No toiletries or amenities though. Not much to eat around here though (nearest restaurant is near the train station). Easy and simple check in/check out procedure."

"The location of this hotel is great, and the room was very clean. I slept exceptionally well! It also has a kitchen, and the front desk staff were very polite and enthusiastic. I would definitely choose this place again if I come back to Hamburg, especially since shopping is so convenient!"

"Hotel samoobsługowy, check in przebiegł bez problemu. Pokój czysty, posiadał wszystko potrzebne udogodnienia, aneks dobrze wyposażony. Mieliśmy jedynie problem gdy chcieliśmy wyjść to okazało się, że drzwi od pokoju nie zamykają automatycznie. Po kontakcie z infolinią zmieniono nam od razu pokój wiec załatwienie tego przebiegło sprawnie. Ekipa sprzątająca w dniu wymeldowania przychodziła kilka razy przed 11 żeby sprawdzić czy już nas nie ma, co było trochę uciążliwe."

"Spacious and clean room. With water offer at reception. But the bed and pillow were too soft made my sleep not good, and the wall was thin as I could hear and feel the shake from neighbors. Location is convenient, and quiet zone from Central Station. But one point to note, though there is a metro entrance next to hotel, but the entrance without escalator or elevator, but stairs! It could be hard if you carried heavy luggage."

"Great stay — second time and still amazing I had another wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Hamburg — this was actually my second time here. The first time I stayed with my mother, and this time with my fiancée, and both experiences have been consistently great. The service is excellent. The staff are always smiling, very kind, and extremely polite, which really makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Everything about the hotel feels lovely and well taken care of. The gym is nice and well-equipped, perfect if you want to keep up your routine while traveling. Breakfast is amazing — plenty of options and everything fresh and tasty, definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The location is also fantastic. It’s close to public transport (there’s a tram stop nearby), making it easy to get around the city. There’s also a great falafel/döner spot close by if you’re looking for a late-night snack, which was a fun bonus. Plus, it’s very close to Westfield, where you can enjoy the scenery and find lots of nice restaurants and shops. Overall, an amazing stay once again.
