GGuest UserVery satisfied with this stay. I flew from Munich and arrived early. The front desk arranged a room when there was one available. I am very grateful. The room is very new, the supplies are relatively new, there is nothing wrong with it. The room is very quiet in a residential area, and there is a supermarket and bakery next to it, which is very convenient. The breakfast is good, with a variety of choices and good quality. For example, the dried apricots are as good as those in Turkey, big, sweet and soft. The disadvantage is not the hotel's problem. Although the road from the bus station to the hotel is flat, it is very bad (much better on the station side) and the other side is not as good as the countryside. It is very tiring to drag the luggage

TTEDDY KENNETHwe have a great 5nites stays at 2 bedroom apartment, it was a pleasant stay, the receptionist Olivier is helpful, the room is ample, all good, willing to come again if i travel to zagreb again. GGuest UserHad a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the location is ideal, close to the city center. Just a small downside regarding the buffet: the dishes were good, but they weren't refilled, which meant you couldn't always go back for more. We should have just ordered a meal directly instead.

GGuest UserFantastic location. Sauna is available to book for free for private use. The best thing was the massage - it was really good. The only issue was the air condition which was changed to heating during the time we visited (summer transitioning to autumn) so it was a little warm at night. Unless you took the garden facing room, the road/ trams noises will be uncomfortable to leave the windows open through the night. Having said, the staff service were good.

GGuest UserI found this to be a relaxing hotel where you can stay comfortably. The room was very clean, so I could rest assured. It's also conveniently located close to Zagreb's main train station and the Old Town, which I think is great for exploring the city.

GGuest UserThe Esplanade Hotel scores big on location — it's perfectly situated and hard to beat for exploring the area on foot. The beds were genuinely comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep.
That said, the rest of the interior is showing its age. The furniture and furnishings are visibly worn and could use replacing. It doesn't ruin the stay, but it is noticeable and brings the overall experience down a notch.
Overall a solid choice if location and sleep quality are your priorities — just be aware that the room itself has seen better days.

CCloriaismeTen thousand times more beautiful than I imagined! Maybe it's because I checked in so late, but they upgraded me to this huge room. It's absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view, and the hygiene is excellent – very clean and bright. Highly recommend to everyone!

NNina ThailandThe young lady receptionist was quite rude in a way she was trying to say that the luggage room has limited space. She kept saying that repeatedly with hard tonal voice. I think she should be trained how to give a sincere service to all guests, without race discrimination. Otherwise, the rest of staff team are nice and helpful. Room is nice, clean, and modern. There’s a supermarket (Lidle) nearby.

RRBieriEasy to find. Tram ride to hotel from train station so it was super convenient. Newr all attractions! You can decide to walk or take a tram which is right around the corner of hotel. Quite at night and big rooms! Coffee shop in the lobby is also good. People are nice and pleasant. Will definitely stay in this hotel again. Woke up with birds singing everyday :-)

TThanis T.The hotel is clean and basic amenities are provided. Reasonable with the price. Since I rely a lot on walking, the location is neither good nor bad. It was 2.5 km from the city center but since it is spring, the walk is really enjoyable.
