GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic – right next to Kumamoto Station! There's a covered walkway directly from the station to the hotel entrance. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, it's connected to Amu Plaza, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. If you're planning to visit Kamishikimi Kumanoza, you can just walk from the hotel to bus stop #7 at Kumamoto Station and catch the 9:11 AM bus to Nobeoka, which stops at Takamori. On the way back, just wait at Takamori Station for the 3:00 PM bus to Kumamoto Station. It was a really convenient and stress-free trip. We stayed for two nights and easily managed to visit all the places we wanted to see.

Maximalists would be thrilled to stay here. The owner's guesthouse is truly like a mini-museum; ten photos wouldn't be enough to capture all the surprises and ingenious touches hidden inside. It's a bit of a shame I didn't get to see the night view from the rooftop; it was so cold the day I checked in 😭. I chose a single room, but it was perfectly adequate for solo travel! The blankets were very soft and comfortable, and the room size was just right. It's very close to the Sakuracho shopping district! I haven't stayed in many guesthouses, but this one truly showed genuine care and attention! I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Kumamoto 🥰

We had everything we need from the amenities area.
Breakfast is very good range, and most important YUMMY! The staffs at the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful too, they even helped my son (5yr old) with his drink he wants 🥰
We loved the bath, face and hand towels that are used in the hotel. They feel so soft to the skin!

MM.Sim007Fantastic new hotel! We took a 37sm corner room, large for japan standard Breakfast soread is good and delicious. Hotel beds are also the best so.far (for tjis 10days trup Kyushu) location is ver central, food plentiful..only issue we had is carpark (due to the central location and probably due to Golden Week,), no parking anywhere near the hotel and ended up waiting for more than an hr to park at Times parking which cost 3600 yen till next day. Overall, we highly recommend this hote.l

GGuest UserIt’s the first hotel that I’ve been to in Japan that had a normal check-in procedure through the receptionist rather than a machine, and you’re greeted upon entry. The location is so perfect and considering it’s right next to the train station, I didn’t hear a thing. Also the room for the price was very comfortable and spacious!

GGuest UserWe had the themed kumamon rooms. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, spacious and clean.
Too bad just a folder as souvenir, would be nice if we could have the kumamon toy as well. Kids would be delighted.
Very friendly staff, our car was a bit to high for the garage so the staff came with us to show where to park nearby.

HhelensilivrenThe tea cup in the room was not clean, i wish the hotel payed more attention to that. The hotel itself is very close to the station and the breakfasts are good, I've been there twice and each time the food was a little different. The staff at reception desk is very helpful

It's budget-friendly, and the rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, and equipped with new and complete facilities – a perfect choice for solo travelers. The staff are warm and professional, and they offer luggage storage.

LLei，taoOverall, a fantastic stay! I really appreciated the complimentary drinks and the spacious bathtub in the room. The service was excellent, and I'll definitely be returning for another visit. My only minor critique is that the location isn't the most convenient, but despite that, I found the overall experience to be very satisfactory.

MMandyMandyLCMThis is a self-drive tour, thinking that it would be okay to stay farther away in a hot spring hotel, so I chose this one. It's a very old hotel, but it's acceptable for the price. The room was large, very clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Front desk only an uncle reception, amiable attitude, give you the key to your own room, check-in outdoor hot spring maintenance only indoor, because the location is remote only saw two or three residents, stay three days and two nights, the next day towels at the door to change, back when only given a set There was an outdoor hot tub, but no way out for repairs.
