CChong Ee JayWonderful stay at Premier Hotel Mojiko for two nights. Just a 3 minutes walk from Mojiko train station.
Coming out from the hotel, you will see the exceptionally spectacular view of the Kanmon Bridge. Also, the ferry service is nearby where you can take a 5 minutes ride opposite to the Karata Fish Market for fresh sushi!
Hotel room is good is size for twin sharing and clean. The service staff are very hospitable too.
Hotel breakfast is great too! Lots of Japanese breakfast food choices.
Nearby the hotel are souvenir shops and coffee places where you can catch a drink or get some nice gifts for family.
Kanmon Straits Museum and Kyushu Rail Museum are all within 10min walking distance from the hotel too!
If you are up for a walk to the Kanmon Bridge area to take the pedestrian tunnel, it’s about a 20-30min walk away by pathway. Good exercise!

헤헤수스Perfect if you have an early flight in the morning. The hotel is just 5-8 min walking from the airport. The staff was very polite and really helfull, they speak japanese, english and korean. For breakfast you get different options of rice; bread, fish, etc. If you don't want to eat in the dinning area, you can bring the food to your room. Also, you can always walk to the airport and get food and drinks at the convenience store. Keep in mind there is nothing besides the airport and the hotel, so don't expect much. This is perfect to rest before or after a flight.

SShin-Woei FannThis hotel locates near by the Kokura train station makes it one of the most convenient hotel I have ever lived.
Unfortunately I could only reserve a smoking room, but the smell was not too strong to clear out by some splash. I would suggest the manager to inform smoking customers not to smoke in the bathroom, in order to avoid the smoke on the shower curtain.
And the services are pretty good provided by kind stuff with multiple language skills. There is even a snack and drink corner 24 hours on first floor.
The only deficit of this hotel might be the sound proof of the top floor, 6th floor I lived. The sound could not penetrate through rooms, but there were multiple huge machines on the top of the room running through day and night and generated big noises. During the last night I lived, one of the noises was similar with the sound of unlocking the door, so I couldn' t sleep well because I felt like somebody was unlocking the door.

GGuest UserCheck in must be exactly after 3pm, not even a minute early. Everything is transactional and impersonal such as not responsible for your luggage left at hotel after checked out. Although human receptionists are there but only direct guests to use machines to check in and out

MMr Adam PorterWe were visiting to watch the rugby at the Mikuni World Stadium and wanted somewhere to stay near by. This place was an absolute gem, incredible room, huge jet bath with TV, breakfast served in bed and the best part was the view from the balcony included the Mikuni World Stadium. Staff were amazing, they didn’t speak English but were very quick to assist and help. They received post for me before my arrival which they gave to me as soon as I arrived, there was a private lounge area to rest and refresh when we arrived too early to check in. I would certainly revisit, especially if you’re headed to the stadium. I wish I’d taken more photos of the amazing room!

GGuest UserThe room was small, but the cleanliness of Japanese hotels never disappoints.
Due to a sudden plumbing repair, I ended up experiencing a hot spring bath, which was quite relaxing. The river is a few minutes' walk away, and there's a shopping mall there, but you can also take a ferry for 5 RMB to Aeon Mall on the other side.
The room faces the Soto Bridge, and there's a park nearby offering panoramic views of the small town.

Ssai HyaIn conclusion, it was the best accommodation for this trip, but there were a few issues.
It clearly says that there is a luggage storage service in the accommodation service details, but when I arrived, it was unmanned and I couldn't receive any service, so I walked around for almost 30 minutes, went back to the JR station, stored my luggage for 700 yen, and started my trip. Something happened that didn't exist
Also, there was an issue with the door lock not working in my room. To resolve this, I was able to resolve the issue within an hour by talking to the manager (the door did not close tightly, so I had to push it with force)
The room condition was excellent and everything in the bathroom and toilet was good. There were some inconveniences, but I spoke to the master and he said he would fix it, so I think it will be a better hotel.

WWindgun14Although the facility is relatively old, it is located close to Kokura Station and the service is good. If you don't want to take the key with you every time, you can leave it at the front desk and pick it up every time you come back, which is very convenient.

Bb chan chanThe hotel provides free shuttle buses, the rooms face the sea view, the open-air hot spring is also beautiful, the dinner is average, but you can pay extra to eat all you can eat crab legs. Overall, the CP value is super high.
