Amazing
MMike MnshStaying at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street was a highlight of our trip to Nagasaki. The hotel is beautifully designed with a distinct British colonial character that fits perfectly into the historic Glover Garden neighbourhood — stepping outside, you’re just moments from Oura Cathedral and some of Nagasaki’s most iconic sights. The rooms are immaculate, stylishly appointed, and the bathrobes were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast at Restaurant Cathedréclat — set inside what feels like a converted chapel — was a real experience in itself, with a tasty Japanese option that was genuinely delicious. The staff deserve a special mention: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Service was flawless from check-in to check-out. The only minor thing I’d flag — and it really is minor — is that the pillows are on the thin and soft side, which might not suit everyone who prefers a bit more support. A firmer pillow option would make this hotel absolutely perfect.

FFeixiangdexiaolingyunThis hotel is only a five-minute walk from Nagasaki Station. The room design is fantastic, and the separate toilet and bathroom are my favorite 'Dormy Inn' style. The hot spring bath was also very relaxing, though I missed out on the late-night ramen. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThe location is a bit off the beaten path, making it ideal for self-driving tourists. Due to its proximity to nature, you might occasionally encounter a few insects in the rooms, but the hotel is generally clean and well-maintained. It boasts a wide array of recreational facilities, along with services such as restaurants, hot springs, and massages. The pricing is reasonable, offering good value for money, so you can easily spend a full and enjoyable vacation without leaving the hotel. I highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing getaway!

Great
PPonyTaroA very comfortable hotel located just about 400 metres from Nagasaki Station, with a tram stop, bus stop, and a convenience store right at the doorstep. Getting around is incredibly easy, as it sits right in the heart of everything. Glover Garden, the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park, and Chinatown are all just a few tram stops away. You can even walk to Mt. Inasayama in around 10 minutes, which makes visiting for the famous night view especially convenient. The room was clean and cozy. The public bath was spacious, with multiple tubs to choose from. There are also laundry and dryer machines available (three of each), though you may need to time your usage a bit. The breakfast was excellent, especially for those who enjoy Japanese-style options. It included a rotating selection of Nagasaki specialties such as champon, Goto udon, and sara udon. There were also breads, salads, and made-to-order egg dishes. However, it might feel a bit pricey if you do not prefer Japanese-style breakfasts, as they make up around 60% of the selection.

SShugerAmazing hotel stay at Fav Lux. We were pleasantly surprised that it is under the same group as Seven x Seven itoshima which we stayed a few days ago because the amenities and check in was exactly the same. We love the spacious room and comfortable bed and pillows. The kitchen is good and the shower is very nice too. The coffee at reception is June Coffee and it is very good too. We hope to stay here again.

MMhom_jaoMy stay at the Coruscant Hotel Nagasaki was truly memorable. Here are some highlights: • Stunning Architecture: The hotel building itself is a sight to behold, blending classic European design with modern amenities. • Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. • Convenient Location: Situated in the heart of Nagasaki, the hotel provides easy access to popular attractions and transportation. • Excellent Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Coruscant Hotel Nagasaki for anyone visiting the area.

Very Good
DDr.p3pp3rThis hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows. The positives: The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring Nagasaki. Dorm rooms are good value for the price. Bed spaces are a decent size, with excellent blackout curtains that block light even if others leave the lights on. You also get a small lockbox for valuables. The negatives: Check-in is fully self-service with no reception. You’re given a folder with rules and keys, but if you need help, there’s no clear support — which can be stressful, especially for travellers without phone SIMs. There is no lift. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the narrow stairs make carrying luggage difficult. Facilities per floor are also limited: only one toilet and one shower shared between multiple dorms, plus the washer and dryer on the same floor, which feels insufficient and awkward. Extras are all paid separately (towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc.). A towel really should be included at this price. Guests are also expected to strip their own bedsheets at checkout, which feels excessive. The common room layout could be improved. A large hammock takes up space and reduces seating — replacing it with chairs or bar seating would make the area far more usable. There were also staff or long-term workers frequently occupying the common room, which made the space feel less guest-focused. Air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted, so if you’re too hot or cold, you have no control. Would I stay again? As a backpacker on a very tight budget, yes — tahe location and price make it workable. But if you can afford it, I’d recommend paying more for a private room nearby. There are many hotels in the area offering much better comfort and support.

__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced. The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant. There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station. There's also a hot spring (onsen).

OOlga TarI really didn't expect anything from staying at this hotel, as it was twice as cheap as anything in the area. But it's really a hidden gem! The location is perfect for exploring Nagasaki, in the heart of Chinatown, lots of eateries in the area, and a tram stop nearby. The entrance is between two buildings and not obvious at first glance, but Google maps will get you there. The hotel has a retro vibe and doesn't look like a traditional business hotel, but does it need to? Big comfy beds, huge rooms (a lot more spacious than you expect to find in Japan), all the amenities you need inside. The description didn't mention a fridge, but we had one in our room. No view, but it didn't bother us. Good breakfast for a reasonable price. The only downside is that they don't have a coin laundry in the hotel, but there are some in the area. In my opinion, it's more than value for money!

KKongjiekkkThis hotel is cost-effective and the location is okay. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. It is uphill to walk to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to push the big box. It is hygienic. Although it is a small hotel, it is very hygienic. The breakfast is okay and you can eat enough. , the waiter is very serious and the service is good. Worth recommending
